How much does the 2025 Hyundai Palisade cost?

There are 5,195 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of used Palisades to compare.

Is the 2025 Hyundai Palisade a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Hyundai Palisade earns a 5/5 user rating and a 9/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Form and function at 10/10.

It fits your needs well if you want a roomy three-row SUV with an upscale feel, broad family appeal, and continued improvements in styling, technology, and packaging. The Palisade’s last-year status for this generation does not erase its strong overall balance, especially if you value a well-rounded family vehicle.

39.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities in the market.

Is the 2025 Hyundai Palisade reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Palisade’s reliability case is helped by its refined, proven V6 powertrain and the fact that it has held up well as this generation has aged. Hyundai also backs it with a long powertrain warranty and complimentary scheduled maintenance for three years or 36,000 miles, which can reduce early ownership stress.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that this is the final year of the current generation, so condition and maintenance history matter more than ever.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Hyundai Palisade?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, even with a strong clean-inventory rate. Focus on cabin wear, infotainment operation, and how the SUV drives over rough pavement, since ride quality and trim-specific equipment can vary meaningfully. If you’re shopping higher trims, make sure the added convenience and safety features are working as intended.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base SE already has a clean, modern, uplevel look and feel, while higher trims add more luxury cues such as premium leather, artificial suede, seat piping, and metal speaker grilles.
• Powertrain: Every Palisade uses a 3.8-liter V6 with 291 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic; AWD is optional, and the SUV is rated at 22 mpg combined, or 21 mpg with AWD.
• Safety package: Hyundai SmartSense includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, intersection turning assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, and Highway Driving Assist. The SEL adds ultrasonic rear occupant alert, the XRT adds front parking sensors and a surround-view camera, and the SEL Premium adds Blind Spot View Monitor, evasive steering assist, and lane-change assist functions.
• Infotainment: The Palisade uses a 12.3-inch digital driver display and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto require a cable, and wireless versions are not included.
• Fuel efficiency: The Palisade averages 22 mpg in combined driving, or 21 mpg with AWD.

Which 2025 Hyundai Palisade trim should I buy?

The 2025 Hyundai Palisade is offered in 7 trim levels: SE, SEL, XRT, SEL Premium, Limited, Calligraphy, and Calligraphy Night Edition.

Here's the short version:

• SE: This is the entry point, and it already delivers the Palisade’s upscale design and roomy family-SUV character at the lowest price.
• SEL: This is the smart step-up if you want more everyday convenience, including the ultrasonic rear occupant alert system.
• XRT: Choose this if you want the added parking confidence of front parking sensors and a surround-view camera.
• SEL Premium: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds Blind Spot View Monitor, evasive steering assist, and lane-change assist functions.
• Limited: This trim does not add much over the SEL Premium, so it makes sense mainly if you find a strong deal.
• Calligraphy: Pick this if you want the most luxurious feel, with premium leather, artificial suede, seat piping, and other upscale touches.
• Calligraphy Night Edition: This is the style-focused choice, with the blacked-out look that gives the Palisade extra visual distinction.

The safety package is strongest once you move beyond the lower trims, especially if you want the camera-based blind-spot view and parking aids.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Hyundai Palisade?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay disciplined.

• Deal availability: 39.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 5,195 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.57% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 92.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $35,551, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Hyundai Palisade's resale value?

The current average of $35,551 sits slightly below last year's $42,614.

That price decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable point in the cycle. If you plan to sell later, the current softness means your future resale value will depend heavily on mileage, condition, and trim desirability. Higher-spec versions with strong equipment and clean history should hold buyer interest better than neglected examples.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Hyundai Palisade safe?

The 2025 Hyundai Palisade earns a Top Safety Pick from IIHS through 2024, but a Poor result in the updated moderate overlap frontal-impact test kept it from repeating that honor in 2025.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Hyundai SmartSense is standard and includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, intersection turning assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, and Highway Driving Assist. The SEL adds ultrasonic rear occupant alert, the XRT adds front parking sensors and a surround-view camera, the SEL Premium adds Blind Spot View Monitor plus evasive steering assist and lane-change assist functions, and the Calligraphy adds automatic braking when parking and Remote Smart Parking Assist.

The NHTSA gives the Palisade five-star frontal impact ratings and four-star rollover resistance ratings. The 2025 model has not been assessed for side-impact performance.

Should I buy a 2025 Hyundai Palisade or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 39.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.57% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It adds SEL Premium trim status and more standard equipment for the XRT.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $34,149, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $35,551 average.
• It adds standard three-zone climate control and Bluelink+ while keeping the same roomy, upscale family-hauler appeal.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It is a redesigned version with multiple powertrain options and a more modern overall package.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the right pick if you want the current-generation Palisade at a softened market price and can find a clean example with the equipment you want. If your priority is saving money, the 2024 is the better value play; if you want the newest redesign, wait for the 2026.
