Used 2025 Honda Odyssey for Sale nearAmarillo, TX

How much does the 2025 Honda Odyssey cost?

Prices have softened 17.19% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,888 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing prices and trims.

Is the 2025 Honda Odyssey a good car?

The 2025 Honda Odyssey earns an expert rating of 6.3/10.

The model scores 8/10 across Performance and Form and function.

You’re looking at a minivan that remains comfortable, practical, and enjoyable to drive, with comfortable seats and plenty of cargo space still central to its appeal. For 2025, it adds a 7-inch digital driver display, an updated 9-inch touchscreen, USB-C charging ports, a smartphone charging pad, and a new Amazon Fire TV rear-seat entertainment system. Even so, the updates only bring the cabin up to minimum expectations, and the van still trails rivals on value.

The main trade-offs are clear: the hybrid powertrain is unavailable, and the technology is dated enough that it doesn’t feel fully competitive. The expert verdict also points to its increasingly uncompetitive position despite the useful updates.

Only 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so you may need to shop carefully to find the strongest value.

Is the 2025 Honda Odyssey reliable?

The 2025 Honda Odyssey is presented as a familiar, proven family hauler with a traditional V6 setup and a long-running formula centered on comfort and practicality. Its driving character is described as smooth and natural, and the powertrain is framed as tried-and-true rather than experimental.

The performance notes emphasize that the V6 delivers strong passing power, the 10-speed automatic responds quickly, and the ride and handling are tuned to feel composed and easy to live with. That kind of straightforward mechanical setup generally supports predictable day-to-day ownership.

Honda also includes a standard maintenance perk in the broader ownership discussion for rivals, but not for this model. For used buyers, the bigger long-term risk is that the Odyssey’s value proposition depends heavily on condition and equipment, so a neglected example can feel expensive to own relative to what it offers.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Honda Odyssey?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on any candidate and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the van has higher mileage or visible wear. Focus on cabin condition, infotainment operation, and whether the vehicle’s equipment matches the trim you’re considering.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Odyssey comes in EX-L, Sport-L, Touring, and Elite trim levels. The lower trims miss some of the higher-end convenience and parking features, while the Touring and Elite add front and rear parking sensors.
• Powertrain: You get a 3.5-liter V6 with 280 horsepower and a 10-speed automatic transmission. There’s no hybrid powertrain or AWD option.
• Safety package: Every Odyssey has Honda Sensing, which includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, lane-centering assist, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. The Touring and Elite add front and rear parking sensors.
• Infotainment: The cabin gets a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, wireless smartphone charging, and a 7-inch digital driver display. The system is improved, but still dated in feel.
• Fuel efficiency: The EPA says it should get 22 mpg in combined driving.

Which 2025 Honda Odyssey trim should I buy?

The 2025 Honda Odyssey is offered in 4 trim levels: EX-L, Sport-L, Touring, and Elite.

Here's the short version:

• EX-L: This is the entry point now that the base EX is gone, so it’s the trim to watch if you want the lowest starting price in the lineup. It gives you the core Odyssey experience, but you’re paying more than last year’s base model, so value shoppers should compare it carefully against the rest of the market.
• Sport-L: This is the trim to target if you want a step up in style and equipment without jumping all the way to the upper end of the range. It should suit you if you want a more polished daily driver while staying away from the most expensive versions.
• Touring: This is the best-value trim if you want more convenience and family-friendly equipment without going all the way to the top. It adds front and rear parking sensors, which make it easier to live with in tight spaces.
• Elite: This is the one to buy if you want the most upscale Odyssey experience and don’t mind paying for it. It tops the range and brings the most premium presentation, but it’s also the least value-focused choice.

The Touring and Elite add front and rear parking sensors, so if those matter to you, start there.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Honda Odyssey?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,888 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.19% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $35,234, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Honda Odyssey's resale value?

The current average of $35,234 sits slightly below last year's $42,548.

That drop suggests the used market has softened, which can help you buy more minivan for the money today. If you plan to sell later, the same trend means you should expect resale values to remain under pressure unless the market tightens again.

For you, that makes condition and trim especially important. A well-kept Odyssey with desirable equipment should hold up better than a higher-mileage example with visible wear or missing features.

Is the 2025 Honda Odyssey safe?

The 2025 Odyssey earns a “Poor” rating in a new IIHS evaluation, and Honda’s minivan is described as performing worse than all of its rivals.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Every 2025 Odyssey has Honda Sensing, a collection of driving-assistance systems. Standard safety features include adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, lane-centering assist, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. The Touring and Elite add front and rear parking sensors.

That standard suite gives you a broad set of driver aids, but the poor crash-test result is a meaningful caveat you should not ignore. If safety is your top priority, you should pay close attention to the vehicle history, trim, and how the Odyssey compares with alternatives.

Should I buy a 2025 Honda Odyssey or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.19% compared with last year.
• The 2025 update brings a new 7-inch digital driver display, an updated 9-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone features, and a new rear-seat entertainment system.

The bottom line: If you want the freshest version of the Odyssey with the updated tech and you can find a clean example at a fair price, the 2025 is the one to target. If you’re more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may deliver a similar family-hauler experience for less, especially if you’re willing to give up the latest cabin updates.
