How much does the 2025 GMC Hummer EV Pickup cost?

Prices have softened 12.86% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 138 listings available, which gives you a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 GMC Hummer EV Pickup a good car?

The 2025 GMC Hummer EV Pickup stands out because it turns the old Hummer formula into an electric supertruck with a very unusual body style, a five-foot bed, and four-door convertible packaging. It also brings standard giant tires, four-wheel steering that can move the truck sideways, an air suspension system that can raise ground clearance to 16 inches, and styling that evokes the original military HUMVEE.

Its appeal is not just visual. The Hummer EV Pickup uses the industry’s largest battery, and the truck’s extreme mass does not stop it from reaching 60 mph in less than three seconds. Standard equipment is also unusually rich, including a 13.4-inch touchscreen with Google Maps, Assistant, and Play store, plus support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Other standard features include a Bose 14-speaker stereo, three years of Super Cruise, heated front and rear seats, a heated steering wheel, three-zone climate control, 360-degree cameras, wireless phone charging, cooled front seats, OnStar, and a 12-way power driver’s seat.

The tradeoffs are clear, though: it is extremely heavy, very inefficient, and the interior materials are described as sub-par. Even so, 29.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 GMC Hummer EV Pickup reliable?

The 2025 GMC Hummer EV Pickup is defined more by its distinctive hardware and rich standard equipment than by any strong reliability signal in the data. Its appeal comes from its unusual body style, four-wheel steering, air suspension, and dramatic electric performance, along with a long list of standard comfort and tech features.

At the same time, the truck’s extreme weight, inefficiency, and long braking distances at high speeds suggest you should approach ownership with care. For a used buyer, that means long-term risk is likely to be tied more to wear, complexity, and maintenance exposure than to simple everyday use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 GMC Hummer EV Pickup?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 97.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the truck’s condition matches the seller’s description. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the body, suspension, brakes, tires, and interior materials, since this is a heavy, complex truck with a lot of specialized hardware.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 GMC Hummer EV Pickup?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 29.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 138 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.86% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 97.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $73,483, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 GMC Hummer EV Pickup's resale value?

The current average of $74,532 sits slightly below last year's $85,534.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more confidently today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the truck is equipped and maintained. If you buy well now, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation pressure later.

Should I buy a 2025 GMC Hummer EV Pickup or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 29.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 97.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.86% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the right pick if you want the Hummer EV Pickup’s most distinctive mix of style, off-road hardware, and electric supertruck personality, especially now that prices have eased. If you’re more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth comparing closely, but the 2025 gives you a strong blend of inventory, condition, and market softness.
