Used 2025 Ford Expedition for Sale nearKlamath Falls, OR

How much does the 2025 Ford Expedition cost?

Prices have softened 18.36% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 4,080 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for you to compare trims and pricing.

Is the 2025 Ford Expedition a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Ford Expedition earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.5/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Performance and Technology.

The Expedition is aimed at you if you want a large SUV with major interior space and strong towing capability, plus a tech-forward cabin that feels modern rather than purely utilitarian. The expert review also notes that it is surprisingly easy to drive for such a large vehicle, which helps make its size less intimidating in everyday use.

The main trade-offs are that its engines are thirsty and some of its tech requires an additional subscription. Even so, the combination of standard equipment and capability makes it a compelling choice if you need a full-size SUV that can do a lot.

36.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2025 Ford Expedition reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Expedition is presented as a practical, capability-focused full-size SUV with a strong emphasis on everyday usefulness, and the expert review highlights that it is easy to maneuver despite its size. Its powertrain is described as handling highway speeds without issue, and the ride and braking behavior are portrayed as confidence-inspiring for a vehicle this large.

The tech and convenience features also suggest a well-developed ownership experience, especially if you value a modern cabin and standard driver aids. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that the vehicle’s size, power, and tech complexity can make upkeep and operating costs more demanding than you might expect.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Ford Expedition?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a large SUV where wear can hide in the brakes, suspension, tires, and interior trim. Focus on how the cabin electronics, driver displays, and subscription-based features function, since the Expedition leans heavily on technology. It is also worth checking whether the vehicle’s equipment matches the trim level you expect, because the feature spread is wide.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Active trim comes with ActiveX synthetic leather upholstery, tri-zone automatic climate control, power-folding rear seats, and the 24-inch panoramic driver information display, while higher trims add nicer materials and more upscale appointments. The Tremor also adds integrated off-roading lamps.
• Powertrain: Every 2025 Expedition uses a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6, with 400 horsepower in standard form and 440 horsepower in the Tremor. Rear-wheel drive is standard only on Active, while other trims get standard four-wheel drive.
• Safety package: Ford’s standard suite includes automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alerts, Pro-Trailer Hitch Assist, and Pro-Trailer Backup Assist. BlueCruise 1.4 is available on Active, Platinum, Tremor, and King Ranch.
• Infotainment: The Expedition uses a 13.2-inch touchscreen with Google Maps, Google Assistant, and the Google Play store. It also supports wireless Android Auto or Apple CarPlay, but full functionality for the Ford Digital Experience requires the Ford Connectivity Package.
• Fuel efficiency: The EPA rates 2WD models at 16 mpg city, 24 highway, and 18 combined, while 4WD models are rated at 15/22/18.

Which 2025 Ford Expedition trim should I buy?

The 2025 Ford Expedition is offered in 4 trim levels: Active, Platinum, Tremor, and King Ranch.

Here's the short version:

• Active: This is the trim to start with if you want the most accessible entry point without giving up a lot of the Expedition’s core appeal. It comes with ActiveX synthetic leather upholstery, tri-zone automatic climate control, power-folding rear seats, and the 24-inch panoramic driver information display, and it is the only trim with rear-wheel drive standard.
• Platinum: This trim is the step up if you want more power and a more upscale feel, since the high-output version of the V6 is available here. It suits you if you want stronger performance and a more premium experience without going all the way to the specialty trims.
• Tremor: This is the best fit if you want the most trail-ready Expedition. It adds the high-output engine, standard four-wheel drive, 33-inch all-terrain tires, skid plates, an electronic locking rear axle, and extra ground clearance, making it the clear choice for buyers who want off-pavement capability.
• King Ranch: Choose this if you want the most luxurious feel in the lineup. The review notes significantly nicer materials and Del Rio leather seating, so it is the trim for you if comfort and upscale presentation matter most.

BlueCruise 1.4 is available on Active, Platinum, Tremor, and King Ranch, but it requires a subscription after the trial period.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Ford Expedition?

The market looks moderately favorable if you are a selective buyer.

• Deal availability: 36.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 4,080 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.36% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 90.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $60,267, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Ford Expedition's resale value?

The current average of $61,490 sits slightly below last year's $75,322.

That drop suggests the market has moved in buyers’ favor, which can make the Expedition easier to purchase now but may also mean sellers face more pricing pressure. If you own one and plan to sell later, the current trend implies you may need to be realistic about asking price, especially if the market stays soft.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Ford Expedition safe?

The 2025 Ford Expedition has not yet been rated by NHTSA, and IIHS testing referenced for this model year was performed on a previous-generation 2023 model that received only Moderate scores in the small overlap front and updated moderate overlap front tests.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Ford equips the Expedition with a strong standard safety package that includes automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alerts, Pro-Trailer Hitch Assist, and Pro-Trailer Backup Assist. BlueCruise 1.4 is available on Active, Platinum, Tremor, and King Ranch, with a trial period included before a subscription is required.

The main caveat is that the available crash-test information does not fully reflect the updated 2025 model, so you should treat the safety picture as promising but not fully confirmed by current independent testing.

Should I buy a 2025 Ford Expedition or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 36.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.36% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2025 adds the new Tremor trim and a tech-forward cabin that the expert review says looks impressively futuristic.

The bottom line: If you want the newest Expedition with the broadest capability spread, the 2025 is the one to target. If your priority is simply getting into a large, well-equipped Expedition for less money, a nearby model year may be the more price-sensitive path.
