How much does the 2025 Dodge Charger Daytona cost?

Prices have softened 19.18% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 280 listings available, which suggests you have a workable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Dodge Charger Daytona a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Dodge Charger Daytona earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7/10 expert rating, which points to broad appeal with some clear compromises. It is presented as Dodge’s first true all-electric muscle car, and its coupe shape, instant acceleration, and head-turning design give it a strong identity. At the same time, the review frames it as stylish and fun rather than rational, with pricing and range standing out as the main trade-offs.

The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Performance, and Form and function.

Cons: Interior materials feel cheap, and the touchscreen response is sluggish. The stereo is also lacking, which matters if you want the cabin to feel as special as the exterior.

For you, the key question is whether you want an EV that leans hard into muscle-car personality. If that’s the goal, this year’s Charger Daytona makes a compelling case despite its compromises.

35.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so there is some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Dodge Charger Daytona reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Charger Daytona is described as comfortable and entertaining, with a powertrain that delivers immediate acceleration and a driving experience built around personality. The expert review also notes that the car feels predictable and planted, which supports confidence in everyday use. On the other hand, the cabin materials are called out as cheap in places, so durability concerns may be more about finish quality than core mechanical character.

The performance notes also point to a well-developed electric setup with all-wheel drive and strong output, which generally supports dependable day-to-day operation when maintained properly. If the cost-effectiveness notes about lower annual electricity spending matter to you, that can help reduce ownership strain over time.

For a used buyer, the main long-term risk is making sure the battery, charging behavior, and electronics have aged well under real-world use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Dodge Charger Daytona?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 98.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

Even with a strong clean-history rate, you should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the car’s equipment matches the listing. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on the cabin electronics, charging system behavior, and any signs of hard use, especially if the car has been driven aggressively. You should also pay close attention to tire wear, brake condition, and interior fit-and-finish, since those areas can reveal how the car was treated.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base R/T emphasizes the Charger Daytona’s style and standard equipment, while the Scat Pack adds much more performance and a larger digital instrument panel. The Plus package also adds useful convenience and tech upgrades, so you should weigh whether the extra equipment is worth the jump in price.
• Powertrain: The R/T uses two electric motors with all-wheel drive and 456 horsepower, while the Scat Pack raises output to 670 horsepower and 627 lb-ft with the PowerShot feature. The R/T is the efficiency leader, while the Scat Pack is the choice if you want the strongest acceleration.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, and parking proximity sensors. The Plus package adds a head-up display and a 360-degree camera system.
• Infotainment: The R/T comes with a 10.25-inch digital instrument panel and a 12.3-inch touchscreen, while the Scat Pack or Plus package upgrades to a 16-inch touchscreen. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, and wireless charging is available with the Plus package.
• Range & charging: The R/T is rated at 308 miles of range from a 94-kWh battery pack, while the Scat Pack is rated at 241 miles or 216 miles with summer performance tires. Both versions can DC fast charge at up to 183 kW, with a 20 to 80 percent charge taking 27 minutes.
• Battery health: For a used EV, you should confirm battery state-of-health, ask how the car was typically charged, and look for signs of frequent hard DC fast charging. You should also check how much of the battery warranty remains and whether the car has been used in a way that could accelerate degradation.

Which 2025 Dodge Charger Daytona trim should I buy?

The 2025 Dodge Charger Daytona is offered in 2 trim levels: R/T and Scat Pack.

Here's the short version:

• R/T: This is the best-value choice if you want the Charger Daytona’s core personality with the strongest range and the lower entry price. It gives you the standard all-wheel-drive electric setup, the full suite of basic safety tech, and the most efficient version of the lineup.
• Scat Pack: Choose this if you care most about performance and want the full muscle-car experience. It adds a major power jump, quicker acceleration, larger wheels, a sport-tuned suspension, Brembo brakes, and extra performance features that make it the enthusiast pick.

The Plus package adds a head-up display and a 360-degree camera system, which are useful upgrades if you want more convenience and visibility support.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Dodge Charger Daytona?

This is a moderate buyer’s market, so you can shop selectively without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 35.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 280 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.18% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 98.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $34,998, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Dodge Charger Daytona's resale value?

The current average of $35,411 sits slightly below last year's $43,812.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable point in the cycle. For a future seller, that also means your resale outcome will depend heavily on how well you preserve condition and mileage. Well-kept examples should hold up better than neglected ones, especially if they have desirable equipment and clean history.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Dodge Charger Daytona safe?

The 2025 Dodge Charger Daytona has not yet received published crash-test results from NHTSA or IIHS.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard advanced safety features include forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, and parking proximity sensors for the front, side, and rear. The Plus package adds a head-up display and a 360-degree camera system.

One caveat is the adaptive cruise control behavior, which the review describes as delayed and sometimes heavy-handed when slowing for traffic. That means you may want to test the system carefully on your own route before relying on it for regular commuting.

Should I buy a 2025 Dodge Charger Daytona or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 35.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 98.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.18% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It is the first true all-electric muscle car, with instant acceleration and a strong personality.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $35,942, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $35,411 average.
• It pairs practicality with boisterous excess and offers coupe and four-door body styles.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It adds a four-door model that broadens practicality while keeping the Charger’s dramatic EV performance.
• It brings stronger everyday usability for buyers who want more space and flexibility.

The bottom line: If you want the most compelling mix of price movement, inventory, and the Charger Daytona’s debut-year identity, the 2025 is the one to target. If you are price-sensitive, shop the cleanest low-mileage example you can find and prioritize the R/T; if you want more practicality, the 2026 four-door is the better path.
