Used 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ for Sale nearCleveland, OH

How much does the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ cost?

Prices have softened 17.47% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 180 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ a good car?

The Escalade IQ earns a 5.67/10 expert rating, and the overall verdict is that it does things no other full-size SUV can, but it’s still hard to justify.

The standout strength is Look and feel at 8/10.

Cadillac’s biggest electric vehicle yet is aimed at you if you want a distinctive, full-size electric luxury SUV with a posh interior and a hard-to-ignore exterior. The trade-offs are clear: it drives as big as it looks, and the tech experience is more about quantity than quality.

The market still shows 31.7% good or great deals, so there is some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ reliable?

The Escalade IQ is presented as a brand-new model with no published crash ratings at press time, so you should approach long-term ownership with the usual caution that comes with a first-year EV.

Cadillac’s description of the vehicle emphasizes a large battery pack, an 800-volt electrical system, and standard dual-motor AWD, which points to a complex and heavy platform. The performance notes also highlight that the vehicle weighs over 9,000 pounds, so wear items and suspension components may face more stress than they would in a smaller SUV.

The cost-effectiveness notes also make clear that the Escalade IQ is built around a very large battery and high-power charging, so you’ll want to pay close attention to charging habits, battery condition, and whether the vehicle has been used mostly for home charging or frequent DC fast charging. If you’re buying used, that battery-and-charging history matters a lot for long-term ownership risk.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially because this is a large, complex EV with a heavy battery pack and advanced electronics. Focus on overall condition, charging behavior, and whether the vehicle has been used in ways that could accelerate wear. If you’re comparing listings, pay close attention to equipment differences and whether the truck has the features you want from the start.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: Luxury 1 and Sport 1 are the entry points, while Luxury 2 and Sport 2 add more content. The base trims already include the core luxury and safety experience, so the higher trims are mainly about added equipment rather than a different mission.
• Powertrain: The Escalade IQ uses a standard dual-motor all-wheel drive setup, with up to 750 horsepower and 785 lb-ft of torque in Velocity Max mode. It’s built for strong straight-line performance, but the vehicle’s size and weight remain part of the experience.
• Safety package: Cadillac includes automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera system, automated parking assist, teen-driver monitoring, and Super Cruise. Those features are standard, so you don’t need to move up a trim to get the core driver-assistance suite.
• Infotainment: The cabin uses a dashboard-spanning display with a digital instrument cluster, central touchscreen, and front-passenger screen. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are not offered, and the system is built around Google-based infotainment.
• Range & charging: Cadillac estimates 460 miles of range from an estimated 200-kWh battery pack. DC fast charging goes up to 350 kW, and Cadillac says that can add 100 miles in 10 minutes.
• Battery health: For a used EV, you should check battery state-of-health, confirm how often it was charged at home versus on DC fast chargers, and review how much battery warranty coverage remains. A clean charging history and normal daily use are both good signs.

Which 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ trim should I buy?

The 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ is offered in 4 trim levels: Luxury 1, Sport 1, Luxury 2, Sport 2.

Here's the short version:

• Luxury 1: This is the best-value starting point if you want the Escalade IQ experience without paying for extra luxury content you may not need. It already gives you the core electric luxury SUV formula, including the standard safety and tech setup.
• Sport 1: Choose this if you want the same basic feature content as Luxury 1 but prefer the sportier design theme. It’s a style-first alternative rather than a major equipment upgrade.
• Luxury 2: This is the better pick if you want more content and are willing to pay for it. It’s the trim to target if you want a richer feature set and don’t mind stepping up from the entry model.
• Sport 2: Pick this if you want the most content in the sport-themed lineup. It’s the top-end choice for buyers who want the fullest version of the Escalade IQ’s luxury and design presentation.

Super Cruise is standard, so you don’t need to shop higher trims to get Cadillac’s hands-free driving system.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop carefully and still find opportunities.

• Deal availability: 31.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 180 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.47% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $105,178, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ's resale value?

The current average of $105,178 sits slightly below last year's $127,449.

That drop suggests the market has moved in buyers’ favor, which can help you today but may also mean the vehicle is still settling into its long-term value curve. For a future seller, that usually means depreciation risk remains meaningful, especially for a first-year luxury EV with a high starting price.

If you buy well now and keep mileage and condition in check, you’ll be in a better position later. But if you overpay near the top of the range, resale recovery could be tougher.

Is the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ safe?

The Escalade IQ earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Cadillac includes its full array of driver assist features, such as automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera system, and automated parking assist. Super Cruise is standard too, and Cadillac also includes teen-driver monitoring.

The main caveat is that published IIHS and NHTSA crash ratings were not available at press time. That means you should lean more heavily on the standard safety equipment and your own inspection of the vehicle’s condition when shopping used.

Should I buy a 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 31.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.47% compared with last year.
• Cadillac’s summary says this year’s Escalade IQ arrives with little direct competition and is unrivaled in size for now.

The bottom line: If you want the first-year Escalade IQ and value its unique size, luxury, and standard safety tech, the 2025 is the one to target. If you’re more price-sensitive, keep shopping the market closely and focus on the best-equipped, clean-history example you can find rather than stretching for a higher-priced listing.
