How much does the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ cost?

There are 193 listings available, which suggests you have some room to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ a good car?

The 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ earns a 5.67/10 expert rating, and Cadillac’s biggest electric vehicle yet stands out for its size, its posh cabin, and its standard advanced safety features. The standout strength is Look and feel at 8/10.

The trade-offs are clear: it drives as big as it looks, its tech is more about quantity than quality, and high-power charging is mandatory for road trips. For you, that means the Escalade IQ makes the most sense if you want a distinctive full-size electric luxury SUV and are willing to accept the compromises that come with its scale.

33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ reliable?

The Escalade IQ is presented as a clean-sheet electric Cadillac with a large battery pack, standard dual-motor AWD, and a heavy-duty EV platform shared with GM’s other large electric vehicles. Its performance setup is straightforward, and Cadillac’s range and charging claims point to a vehicle designed to handle daily use without drama if you can charge at home or at work.

Cadillac also includes bidirectional charging capability, which can add practical value if you want backup power support during outages. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is the same one that comes with any large, complex EV: battery condition, charging habits, and the cost of keeping a very heavy luxury vehicle in top shape.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a vehicle this large and this technology-heavy. Focus on overall condition, charging behavior, and whether the cabin electronics, cameras, and driver-assistance features all work as intended.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Luxury and Sport design themes are both available, and both come standard with 24-inch wheels. The higher-content Luxury 2 and Sport 2 grades add more equipment, while the base trims are the ones to compare if you want the best value.
• Powertrain: The standard dual-motor AWD setup delivers up to 750 horsepower and 785 lb-ft of torque with Velocity Max mode. It’s quick for something this large, but the vehicle’s weight still shapes how it feels on the road.
• Safety package: Cadillac includes automatic emergency braking front and rear, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera system, automated parking assist, teen-driver monitoring, and Super Cruise. Standard safety coverage is strong, but the blind-spot camera resolution is a weak point.
• Infotainment: You get a dashboard-spanning display, a central infotainment touchscreen, and a passenger screen, plus a standard head-up display. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are not offered, and the system uses Google-based infotainment instead.
• Range & charging: Cadillac estimates 460 miles of range from an estimated 200 kilowatt-hours of battery capacity, and DC fast charging can reach up to 350 kW, with a claimed 100 miles added in 10 minutes. At home, the standard 11.5-kW onboard charger can be upgraded to 19.2 kW.
• Battery health: On a used EV, you should check battery state-of-health, ask how often the vehicle has relied on DC fast charging versus home charging, and confirm how much of the battery warranty remains. A well-kept battery matters more than mileage alone.

Which 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ trim should I buy?

The 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ is offered in 4 trim levels: Luxury 1, Sport 1, Luxury 2, Sport 2.

Here's the short version:

• Luxury 1: This is the starting point and the best-value trim if you want the Escalade IQ experience at the lowest entry price. It gives you the core luxury-EV package, standard safety tech, and the big-screen cabin without stepping up to the pricier grades.
• Sport 1: Choose this if you want the same basic feature content as Luxury 1 but prefer the Sport design theme. It costs more, so it makes sense mainly if the styling is worth the premium to you.
• Luxury 2: This is the better pick if you want more content and are willing to pay for it. It’s the more upscale route in the lineup and the one to consider if you want a richer equipment mix.
• Sport 2: This is the top Sport choice, pairing the Sport look with the highest-content version of the lineup. It suits you if you want the most fully equipped Escalade IQ in the sportier design theme.

Super Cruise is standard, so you don’t need to move up a trim to get Cadillac’s hands-free highway driving system.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory and deal activity to make comparison shopping worthwhile.

• Deal availability: 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 193 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.35% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 95.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $105,425, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ's resale value?

The current average of $105,477 sits slightly below last year's $127,626.

That drop suggests the market has moved in buyers’ favor, which can help you get into the vehicle at a lower cost today. For a future seller, though, it also means you should expect resale values to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the battery and charging system have been maintained.

Because this is a high-priced luxury EV, depreciation can work both ways: it may create a better used-buying opportunity now, but it can also make holding value more sensitive to market shifts and equipment differences.

Is the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ safe?

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Cadillac includes its full array of driver assist features, including automatic emergency braking front and rear, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, lane keep assist, lane departure warning with a vibrating driver’s seat, adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera system, automated parking assist, and teen-driver monitoring. Super Cruise is standard as well, giving you hands-free driving on pre-mapped highways.

The main caveat is that official IIHS and NHTSA crash-test ratings were not available at the time of publication. That means you should lean more heavily on the standard safety equipment and your own inspection of camera, sensor, and driver-assistance functionality when shopping used.

Should I buy a 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.35% compared with last year.
• This year gives you Cadillac’s biggest electric SUV with standard Super Cruise, a posh cabin, and the full-size EV packaging that defines the model.

The bottom line: If you want the Escalade IQ’s full-size electric luxury experience, the 2025 model is the one to target because it combines strong equipment, a softer price trend, and decent deal availability. If you’re more price-sensitive, keep shopping the market closely and focus on the lower end of the price range, where the best opportunities are most likely to show up.
