How much does the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ cost?

Prices have softened 17.19% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 201 listings available, which suggests you have some room to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ a good car?

The 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ earns a 5.67/10 expert rating.

The standout strength is Look and feel at 8/10.

It stands out as Cadillac’s all-electric take on the Escalade name, and it brings a posh interior, a hard-to-ignore exterior, and standard advanced safety features to a segment where it has little direct competition. At the same time, it is still a very large vehicle to drive, and its technology is more about quantity than quality.

Two trade-offs matter most: it drives as big as it looks, and high-power charging is mandatory for road trips.

With 31.8% of listings priced as good or great deals, the market gives you some flexibility if you want to shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ reliable?

The Escalade IQ is presented as a brand-new model with no expert-tested long-term track record in this data, so you should treat it as a vehicle where careful used-car diligence matters.

Its all-electric setup and large battery pack make it a different kind of ownership proposition than a conventional SUV, and the available information emphasizes daily usability more than proven durability. The performance notes point to a heavy vehicle with a large battery and a high-output dual-motor AWD system, while the cost-effectiveness notes stress that home charging is the easiest way to live with it.

Cadillac says the Escalade IQ can recover 100 miles in 10 minutes on DC fast charging, and it can add 36.5 miles of range per hour from a 240-volt Level 2 source with the optional onboard charger. That makes home charging especially important for keeping ownership convenient.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that battery and charging-system health will matter more than on a gas SUV, so you should prioritize a thorough inspection and charging-history review.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 96.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and verify that the vehicle has a clean title, consistent service records, and no signs of prior bodywork. Because this is a large, high-tech EV, a pre-purchase inspection should focus on charging behavior, software operation, suspension function, and any warning lights or camera issues.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: Luxury 1 and Sport 1 are the entry points, while Luxury 2 and Sport 2 add more content. The base trims already bring the posh cabin, standard advanced safety features, and the Escalade IQ’s core luxury-EV character, so you should focus on whether the extra equipment in the higher grades is worth the jump.
• Powertrain: The standard setup is a dual-motor AWD system with up to 750 horsepower and 785 lb-ft of torque in Velocity Max mode. It is quick for something this large, but the vehicle’s weight still affects how it feels on the road.
• Safety package: Cadillac includes automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera system, automated parking assist, teen-driver monitoring, and Super Cruise. Super Cruise is standard, but it only works on pre-mapped highways.
• Infotainment: The cabin uses a dashboard-spanning display with a digital instrument cluster, central touchscreen, and front-passenger screen. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are not offered, and the system uses Google-based infotainment instead.
• Range & charging: Cadillac estimates 460 miles of range from an estimated 200 kilowatt-hours of battery capacity. DC fast charging goes up to 350 kW, and Cadillac says that can add 100 miles in 10 minutes. Level 2 charging is slower, so home charging matters a lot.
• Battery health: On a used EV, you should check battery state-of-health, confirm that charging speeds are normal, and ask how the vehicle was typically charged. Home charging is generally easier on ownership than repeated DC fast charging, and you should also verify how much of the battery warranty remains.

Which 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ trim should I buy?

The 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ is offered in 4 trim levels: Luxury 1, Sport 1, Luxury 2, Sport 2.

Here's the short version:

• Luxury 1: This is the entry point and the best-value starting place if you want the Escalade IQ experience without paying for extra luxury content you may not need. It already gives you the big-screen cabin, standard safety tech, and the core dual-motor EV setup.
• Sport 1: Choose this if you want the same basic feature content as Luxury 1 but prefer the different design theme. It is priced slightly higher, so it makes sense mainly if the styling matters to you.
• Luxury 2: This is the better pick if you want more content and are willing to pay for it. It suits buyers who want a more fully equipped version of the Escalade IQ’s luxury and tech experience.
• Sport 2: This is the top-content Sport version, and it makes sense if you want the most equipment in the sport-themed design. It is the priciest trim, so it is best for shoppers who want the fullest version of the model rather than the best value.

Super Cruise is standard across the lineup, so you do not need to move up a trim just to get Cadillac’s hands-free driving system.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the right listing.

• Deal availability: 31.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 201 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.19% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 96.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $105,365, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ's resale value?

The current average of $105,366 sits slightly below last year's $127,241.

That drop suggests the market has moved in buyers’ favor, which can help you if you are shopping now. For a future seller, it means the Escalade IQ is currently carrying a softer price position than it did a year ago, so resale expectations should be tempered accordingly.

Because the model is still new and expensive, condition, mileage, and equipment mix will matter a lot when it comes time to sell. A well-kept example with strong battery health and desirable options should hold up better than one with visible wear or charging concerns.

Is the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ safe?

The 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ does not have published IIHS or NHTSA crash-test ratings in this data.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Cadillac includes its full array of driver-assist features, including automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera system, automated parking assist, and teen-driver monitoring. Super Cruise is also standard, giving you hands-free driving capability on pre-mapped highways.

A caveat worth noting is that the available blind-spot camera system was described as low resolution, and the camera view takes over the central screen whenever a turn signal is activated.

Should I buy a 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 31.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 96.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.19% compared with last year.
• Cadillac’s biggest electric vehicle yet arrives with little direct competition and offers a distinctive full-size electric luxury experience.

The bottom line:

If you want the Escalade IQ’s biggest advantage right now, the 2025 is the one to target because it combines a softer market, strong clean-inventory rates, and the model’s debut-year novelty. If you are more price-sensitive, you can wait and keep watching listings, but the current year already gives you a useful mix of availability and discounting.
