Is the 2025 Buick Encore GX a good car?

The 2024 Buick Encore GX is described as a smartly refreshed subcompact crossover with an attractive design, a comfortable ride, and useful cargo space. It also brings a more modern feel while keeping the economical character that helps define it.

For shoppers, that means you should expect a practical small crossover with broad appeal, especially if comfort and everyday usability matter more to you than standout performance. The market also shows 42.4% of listings are good or great deals, which gives you room to shop with leverage.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Buick Encore GX?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and confirm the car’s maintenance record before you commit. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the interior electronics, ride quality, and overall condition, since those are the areas where a used crossover’s day-to-day value shows up most clearly. If a listing looks especially clean, compare it carefully against similar examples so you know whether the condition justifies the asking price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Buick Encore GX?

This is a buyer-friendly moment if you’re shopping carefully, because pricing has eased and deal availability is strong.

• Deal availability: 42.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,673 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.39% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 90.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $19,856, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Buick Encore GX's resale value?

The current average of $22,878 sits slightly below last year's $23,682.

That softer pricing suggests the market is giving buyers a bit more room today, but it also means future resale may depend heavily on how well you preserve the vehicle’s condition. If you buy at a strong price and keep mileage, maintenance, and cosmetic wear in check, you’ll be in a better position when it’s time to sell. For a future seller, the current trend points to a market that rewards clean, well-priced examples more than average ones.

Should I buy a 2025 Buick Encore GX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 42.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.39% compared with last year.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $22,121, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $22,878 average.
• It offers a refreshed design and more choice in trims.

The bottom line:
You should start with the 2025 if you want the current-year market, strong deal availability, and a healthy share of clean listings. If your priority is saving money up front, the 2024 is the better value path, especially if you find one in good condition and the lower average price matters more than having the newest model year.
