Is the 2025 BMW iX a good car?

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 BMW iX?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the listing matches the car’s actual condition and equipment. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the battery-related systems, charging equipment, tires, brakes, and interior wear, since those areas can reveal how the vehicle was used and maintained. Focus on overall condition and documentation, because the best examples will stand out even in a strong inventory pool.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 BMW iX?

This is a buyer-friendly moment if you want a 2025 BMW iX, because pricing has moved down and there are plenty of listings to compare.

• Deal availability: 44.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,063 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 27.27% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 90.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $59,272, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 BMW iX's resale value?

The current average of $59,272 sits slightly below last year's $81,502.

For a future seller, that means the market has already adjusted downward, so your resale outcome will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle is documented. If you buy well now and keep the car in strong shape, you may be better positioned than someone who pays closer to the top of the range. The current pricing also suggests that depreciation has already done some of its work, which can help reduce the sting of near-term value loss.

Should I buy a 2025 BMW iX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 44.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 27.27% compared with last year.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It adds modest battery gains and a more affordable entry model.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the better primary choice if you want stronger current value and a broad pool of listings to compare. If you're especially price-sensitive and want the latest updates, the 2026 is worth a look, but the 2025 already offers a compelling buying window.
