What should I look for when buying a used 2025 BMW i5?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify service records before making an offer. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the battery, charging equipment, tires, brakes, and cabin electronics, since condition can vary even among clean-title cars. Focus on overall wear and how well the car has been maintained, not just the asking price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 BMW i5?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 35.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 289 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.28% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 95.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $57,560, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 BMW i5's resale value?

The current average of $58,460 sits slightly below last year's $65,896.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more confidently today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well your car stands out against the current inventory. If you keep the car clean and well documented, you'll be in a better position when it's time to sell.

Should I buy a 2025 BMW i5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 35.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.28% compared with last year.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $50,920, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $58,460 average.
• It offers strong performance, good range, and a comfortable cabin.

The bottom line: If you want the newer model year and are comfortable shopping a moderate market, the 2025 is the better starting point. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2024 is the smarter value play and still delivers the core strengths you want in this EV sedan.
