You should still run a history report and verify that the car’s condition matches its mileage and asking price. Should I buy a 2025 BMW Z4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 33.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 97.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2025 BMW Z4 is the right choice if you want the strongest mix of roadster style, modern tech, and enthusiast appeal in this generation, especially if you value the late-model availability of the manual on the M40i. If you’re more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may still make sense, but the 2025 gives you a compelling balance of features, driving character, and market availability.
