How much does the 2025 BMW 4 Series cost?

Prices have softened 6.10% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,335 listings available, which suggests you should have a workable selection to compare.

Is the 2025 BMW 4 Series a good car?

The 2025 BMW 4 Series stands out for blending premium equipment with a distinctive design that is more dramatic than the related sedan it shares much of its hardware with. For you, that means the appeal is strongest if you want a luxury car that feels special rather than conventional, with coupe, convertible, and Gran Coupe body styles to match different priorities.

It also comes with a long list of standard equipment, including LED headlights, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, SensaTec upholstery, power front sport seats, a rear-view camera, adaptive cruise control, and satellite navigation. The styling is divisive, but the combination of strong performance, a high-quality interior, and upscale image gives it broad appeal for used luxury shoppers.

36.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a decent chance to find a competitive example.

Is the 2025 BMW 4 Series reliable?

The 2025 BMW 4 Series is presented as a well-equipped luxury model with familiar BMW hardware, a high-quality interior, and a broad standard feature set. It also benefits from the 2024 facelift for the 2025 model year, which brought updated design details and an updated mild-hybrid system on the 430i.

For you, the main long-term ownership risk is that a premium used car can become expensive if prior maintenance was inconsistent or if wear items were neglected. A careful inspection and a clean service history matter more here than they would on a simpler mainstream car.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 BMW 4 Series?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report on any car you are seriously considering, especially if the price looks unusually attractive. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection so you can verify condition, maintenance quality, and whether the car has signs of cosmetic or mechanical wear that do not show up in photos. Focus on the interior, electronics, tires, brakes, and any evidence of uneven panel gaps or prior repairs.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 BMW 4 Series?

This is a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 36.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,335 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.10% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 92.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $46,910, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 BMW 4 Series's resale value?

The current average of $47,368 sits slightly below last year's $50,447.

That price movement suggests the market has softened, which can help you buy more confidently today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the car is equipped. If you keep the car clean, well maintained, and accident-free, you should be in a better position when it is time to sell.

Should I buy a 2025 BMW 4 Series or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 36.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.10% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the better pick if you want the updated look and equipment set, plus a market that is giving you some negotiating room. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby year may be worth considering, but the 2025 remains the cleaner choice if you want the latest version of this design and feature mix.
