How much does the 2025 BMW 4 Series cost?

Is the 2025 BMW 4 Series a good car?

The 2025 BMW 4 Series stands out for blending premium equipment with a distinctive design that is more dramatic than the related sedan it shares much of its hardware with. It is well equipped across the range, and it offers coupe, convertible, and Gran Coupe body styles, so you can choose the version that best fits how you want to drive and live with the car.

For you, that means the 4 Series makes the most sense if you want a luxury car that feels special rather than conventional. The styling is divisive, but the combination of strong performance, a high-quality interior, and a long list of standard equipment gives it broad appeal for used luxury shoppers.

35.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2025 BMW 4 Series reliable?

The 2025 BMW 4 Series comes with a well-equipped package and a familiar mechanical setup, including an eight-speed automatic transmission and standard features that cover the basics and then some. It also benefits from the 2024 facelift for the 2025 model year, which brought updated design and equipment changes.

For you, the main long-term ownership risk is that a premium used car can be more expensive to keep in top shape than a mainstream alternative, so condition and maintenance history matter a lot.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 BMW 4 Series?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you are considering a higher-mileage or lower-priced example. Focus on overall condition, signs of prior bodywork, and whether the car has been maintained consistently, since those factors matter more than the badge alone.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 BMW 4 Series?

This looks like a moderate market where selective buyers can still find value if they compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 35.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,339 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.13% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $46,912, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 BMW 4 Series's resale value?

The current average of $47,175 sits slightly below last year's $50,254.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled enough to give you a better entry point than a year ago. If you buy well now and keep the car in strong condition, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation pressure later. For a future seller, the key will be how cleanly the car is maintained and how close it stays to the market's better-condition examples.

Should I buy a 2025 BMW 4 Series or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 35.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.13% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the better primary choice if you want the updated model-year package and a market that still offers some deal potential. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but the 2025 gives you a strong mix of inventory, condition, and softened pricing.
