Used 2025 Audi SQ5 for Sale near Virginia

How much does the 2025 Audi SQ5 cost?

Prices have softened 6.77% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 265 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2025 Audi SQ5 a good car?

The 2025 Audi SQ5 earns a 7.17/10 expert rating.

The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, and Technology.

It’s aimed at you if you want a compact luxury crossover SUV that feels sporty, luxurious, and fun to drive, with added practicality and next-generation technology from the redesign. The main trade-offs are a poor fuel economy score and a lack of hands-free driving tech. It also gets high marks for comfort and technology, but the performance-focused setup still comes with some compromises in efficiency and driver-assistance polish.

38.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so there’s a meaningful share of the market that may be worth a closer look.

Is the 2025 Audi SQ5 reliable?

The 2025 Audi SQ5 is presented as a redesigned luxury SUV with a strong emphasis on performance, comfort, and technology, but the expert notes also point to some trust issues with its driver-assistance behavior. The powertrain is described as satisfying and sure-footed, and the SUV’s traction and stability were strong in wet conditions.

The performance content also suggests the SQ5 is mechanically well sorted, with a turbocharged V6, standard all-wheel drive, and adaptive air suspension helping it feel composed and capable. On the ownership side, Audi includes roadside assistance within the warranty coverage, and the brand’s scheduled maintenance perk is arriving for 2026 rather than this model year.

For used buyers, the biggest long-term risk is that the driver-assistance system behavior may be frustrating if you expect it to work seamlessly every day.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Audi SQ5?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 96.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report, verify service records, and prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re shopping a higher-mileage example or one with optional equipment. Focus on overall condition, tire wear, brake condition, and whether the technology and driver-assistance features behave as expected during a test drive.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige trims differ in cabin presentation and equipment. The Premium and Premium Plus use a lower-grade leather with diamond-stitched Dinamica inserts, while the Prestige adds Fine Nappa leather and more customization for lighting and display features. The base trim still includes the core luxury look, but you’ll want to compare it carefully against the higher trims if you care about the richer materials and added tech.
• Powertrain: The SQ5 uses a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 with 362 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and Quattro all-wheel drive. Audi says it reaches 60 mph in 4.6 seconds, and the official fuel economy rating is 22 mpg combined.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes automatic high-beam headlights, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, a semi-autonomous parking assistance system, and safe exit assist. Premium Plus adds Adaptive Cruise Assist with lane-centering and a surround-view camera system. The SQ5 does not offer low-speed hands-free traffic jam assist or hands-free driving tech.
• Infotainment: The Premium and Premium Plus trims include an 11.9-inch digital instrument display and a 14.5-inch OLED touchscreen. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, along with a navigation system, SiriusXM satellite radio, and Audi Assistant. The Prestige adds a 10.9-inch passenger touchscreen.
• Fuel efficiency: The SQ5 is rated at 22 mpg combined, and testing returned 20.4 mpg.

Which 2025 Audi SQ5 trim should I buy?

The 2025 Audi SQ5 is offered in 3 trim levels: Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige.

Here's the short version:

• Premium: This is the entry point, but it still gives you the SQ5’s core appeal: the turbocharged V6, Quattro all-wheel drive, adaptive air suspension, and the standard safety and infotainment features. It’s the trim to consider if you want the SQ5 experience without paying for the extra luxury and convenience upgrades.
• Premium Plus: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds the 16-speaker Bang & Olufsen 3D surround-sound system, a configurable head-up display, Adaptive Cruise Assist with lane-centering, and a surround-view camera system. If you want the strongest mix of comfort, tech, and everyday usability, this is the one to target.
• Prestige: This is the most luxurious version, with Fine Nappa leather, a passenger touchscreen, and Dynamic Interaction Lighting. Choose it if you want the most upscale cabin presentation and the most feature-rich SQ5.

The Premium Plus trim is the sweet spot if you want the strongest mix of equipment and value, while the Prestige is the pick for buyers who want the most upscale cabin and extra display tech.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Audi SQ5?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully rather than rush.

• Deal availability: 38.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 265 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.77% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 96.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $55,988, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Audi SQ5's resale value?

The current average of $55,988 sits slightly below last year's $60,055.

That decline suggests the market has already moved in buyers’ favor, which can help you get into the SUV at a more reasonable entry point. If you buy well now, you may reduce the risk of overpaying relative to recent market levels.

For a future seller, the softer pricing means you should expect more competition when it’s time to list. A clean history, strong condition, and desirable trim or options will matter more if you want to protect resale value.

Is the 2025 Audi SQ5 safe?

The 2025 Audi SQ5 does not yet have released IIHS or NHTSA crash-test ratings.

It earns a 4/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety features include automatic high-beam headlights, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, a semi-autonomous parking assistance system, and safe exit assist. Premium Plus adds Adaptive Cruise Assist with lane-centering and a surround-view camera system.

The main caveat is that the SQ5’s driver-assistance behavior did not inspire confidence in testing. The system lacks hands-free traffic jam assist and hands-free driving tech, and the expert notes describe unwanted braking behavior that can undermine trust.

Should I buy a 2025 Audi SQ5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 38.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 96.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.77% compared with last year.
• The redesign brings more power, added practicality, and next-generation technology, while the expert verdict says it’s more enjoyable than a typical sport-tuned SUV.

The bottom line: If you want the newest SQ5 with the strongest mix of performance, comfort, and technology, the 2025 is the one to focus on. If you’re more price-sensitive, you may want to keep shopping the market closely and look for the best-equipped example at the lowest price rather than paying extra for a newer badge.
