Used 2025 Audi RS 3 for Sale nearMorgantown, WV

Is the 2025 Audi RS 3 a good car?

The 2025 Audi RS 3 earns a 7.83/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Performance at 10/10.

It’s a strong fit if you want four-door practicality with sports car-rivalling pace, plus an interior that feels worthy of the Audi badge. For 2025, updated chassis tuning makes it easier to drive fast, and the RS 3’s class-of-one status adds to its appeal.

The trade-offs are clear: cargo space is limited, and it is expensive for what it offers. Even so, the market shows 37.5% good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Audi RS 3 reliable?

The 2025 Audi RS 3 is positioned as a high-performance model with the same four-year/50,000-mile new car warranty and four-year/50,000-mile powertrain warranty as other Audi models. Its performance hardware is substantial, but the car is also described as a reasonably civilized daily driver when you’re not pushing it.

The performance setup includes a quick-shifting dual-clutch transmission, AWD, adaptive damping, and torque-vectoring hardware, all of which are designed to deliver consistent, linear behavior rather than a nervous feel. Audi also says the 2025 chassis tuning improves response when cornering, which should help the car feel more settled in real-world use.

It also carries a fuel-economy rating of 23 mpg combined, which suggests it can be fairly efficient for a performance car if you drive it gently. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that this is still a costly, highly specialized performance sedan, so repairs and upkeep can be more expensive than on a mainstream compact car.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Audi RS 3?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially because this is a high-performance model with specialized hardware. Focus on overall condition, signs of hard use, and whether the car’s equipment and trim-specific features are intact and functioning as expected.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The RS 3’s exterior and cabin are defined by performance-focused details like heavily bolstered front seats, Alcantara, RS-specific steering wheel design, and available appearance packages. Make sure the car has the features you want, since some visual and interior upgrades are optional rather than standard.
• Powertrain: The RS 3 uses a unique turbocharged 2.5-liter five-cylinder engine with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and AWD. It makes 394 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque, so you should check for smooth shifting, clean power delivery, and signs of aggressive use.
• Safety package: Standard driver assistance includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, Park Assist Plus, a 360-degree camera system, and automatic lane-centering. There is not a hands-free option.
• Infotainment: You get a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and 10.1-inch touchscreen, plus standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Wireless device charging and a 15-speaker Sonos audio system are standard too.
• Fuel efficiency: The RS 3 is rated at 23 mpg combined, 20 mpg city, and 29 mpg highway, with observed fuel economy of 22.8 mpg.

Which 2025 Audi RS 3 trim should I buy?

The 2025 Audi RS 3 is offered in 1 trim level: RS 3.

Here's the short version:

The RS 3 is the one to buy because there isn’t a trim ladder to sort through. It already gives you the full RS experience: the unique turbocharged five-cylinder engine, AWD, adaptive damping, torque-vectoring hardware, and the high-end cabin treatment that helps justify the car’s premium price. If you want the best value, the standard RS 3 is the only path, since the model’s appeal comes from the complete package rather than a choice between multiple trims.

Is the 2025 Audi RS 3 safe?

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

The RS 3 comes standard with adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, Park Assist Plus automated parking assistance, a 360-degree camera system, and automatic lane-centering. There is not a hands-free driving option.

At press time, IIHS and NHTSA ratings had not been released for this generation, so there isn’t a crash-test result to cite here. That means you should lean more heavily on the standard safety equipment and your own inspection of the car’s condition.

Should I buy a 2025 Audi RS 3 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 37.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• The 2025 model gets updated chassis tuning that makes it easier to drive fast, plus a subtle facelift.

The bottom line: If you want the sharpest version of Audi’s compact performance sedan, the 2025 RS 3 is the one to target because it adds revised chassis tuning and keeps the model’s standout performance, interior quality, and everyday usability intact. If you’re more price-sensitive, you may want to broaden your search and compare similar performance sedans, since the RS 3 remains expensive for what it offers.
