How much does the 2025 Audi Q7 cost?

Prices have softened 22.84% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,284 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Audi Q7 a good car?

The 2025 Audi Q7 earns a 7.33/10 expert rating.

The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, and Technology.

You get a mid-size SUV with room for seven, standard all-wheel drive, and strong handling characteristics, plus wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for everyday convenience. The trade-offs are that the third row is cramped for anyone but the smallest passengers, and the price can climb quickly as you move up the trim line. The market also shows 42.8% of listings as good or great deals, which helps offset some of the premium positioning.

Is the 2025 Audi Q7 reliable?

The 2025 Audi Q7 is presented as a well-rounded luxury SUV, but it also shows its age in a few key areas, especially where the driving experience and technology are concerned. Its powertrain is described as smooth and easy, with the larger engine delivering strong motivation, and the SUV’s handling is a clear strength.

The performance notes also point to a vehicle that can be driven in manual mode for more control, with firm brakes and minimal body roll. On the ownership side, the cost-effectiveness commentary suggests the best value is not at the top of the range, which is a useful signal if you plan to keep the vehicle long term.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that you may end up paying luxury-SUV money for a model whose tech and driver-assistance systems already feel behind the curve.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Audi Q7?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or a heavily optioned trim. Focus on overall condition, because the Q7’s value can swing quickly with trim level and equipment, and you’ll want to make sure the features you’re paying for are actually present and working as expected.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup includes Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige. The base trim is the value play, while the upper trims add more equipment but also push the price up quickly.
• Powertrain: Buyers of the Premium and Premium Plus trims can choose between a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder with 261 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque, or a 3.0-liter turbo V6 with 335 horsepower and 365 pound-feet of torque. The larger engine is the stronger choice if you want more punch.
• Safety package: The Q7 includes blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, self-parking capability for parallel and perpendicular spaces, and customizable adaptive cruise settings. The system is described as outdated compared with rivals, and lane-centering is not as polished as it should be.
• Infotainment: Audi’s MMI system uses a 10.1-inch center screen with a smaller lower screen for HVAC controls, plus a configurable digital gauge cluster. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are included, and the Audi App Store adds third-party apps.
• Fuel efficiency: The 55 TFSI is rated at 18 mpg city, 23 mpg highway, and 20 mpg combined. The smaller engine is rated at 20 mpg city, 26 mpg highway, and 22 mpg combined.

Which 2025 Audi Q7 trim should I buy?

The 2025 Audi Q7 is offered in 3 trim levels: Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige.

Here's the short version:

• Premium: This is the trim to target if you want the best value. It gives you the core Q7 experience without pushing the price too far, and the source specifically points to the base Premium trim as the smart place to start.
• Premium Plus: This is the middle ground if you want more equipment than the base trim but still want to avoid the top-end price jump. It also gives you access to the engine choices described in the performance notes.
• Prestige: This is the fully loaded route, but it is hard to justify unless you specifically want the top-spec experience. The source notes that the price can skyrocket here, and the added cost is tough to defend given the outdated ADAS setup.

The safety package is a strength in terms of feature count, but the tech itself is described as behind the competition, so you should not expect class-leading driver assistance even on higher trims.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Audi Q7?

This looks like a buyer-friendly moment if you’re shopping the 2025 Q7, especially if you’re willing to compare listings carefully and move quickly on a strong example.

• Deal availability: 42.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,284 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 22.84% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 94.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $44,464, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Audi Q7's resale value?

The current average of $44,464 sits slightly below last year's $57,623.

That drop suggests the Q7 has moved into a more buyer-friendly pricing zone, which can help you if you’re shopping now. For a future seller, though, it means you should expect softer resale performance than last year’s market supported.

If you buy at today’s average or below, you may have less downside than someone who bought when prices were higher. The flip side is that luxury SUVs with aging tech can be harder to hold at strong values if the market keeps favoring newer alternatives.

Is the 2025 Audi Q7 safe?

The 2025 Audi Q7 earns five-star ratings overall and for side crash from NHTSA, and four-star ratings for front crash and rollover.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

The Q7 includes blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, lane-centering, and self-parking capability for parallel and perpendicular spaces. You can also customize the adaptive cruise behavior, which is a nice touch if you want a more relaxed or more assertive driving style.

The caveat is that the system is described as outdated relative to rivals, and lane-centering can feel haphazard. The Q7 also does not offer the more advanced lane-changing behavior some competitors provide, so you should view the driver-assistance suite as useful but not class-leading.

Should I buy a 2025 Audi Q7 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 42.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 22.84% compared with last year.
• The 2025 brings a mid-cycle refresh, standard all-wheel drive, and a strong mix of style and everyday usability.

The bottom line: If you want the refreshed look and the current-year market softness, the 2025 is the one to target. If your priority is maximizing value, you should focus on the best-priced clean example rather than chasing the highest trim, since the source makes clear that the premium climbs fast and the driver-assistance tech still trails the class.
