The current average of $30,271 sits slightly below last year's $43,244.

For a future seller, that means the market has already reset lower, so your resale outcome will depend heavily on how well the car is maintained and how it compares with similar listings when you decide to sell. If you buy at a competitive price now, you may be better positioned to absorb normal depreciation later. Strong condition and clean history will matter most when it is time to list it again.

Should I buy a 2025 Audi A5 Sportback or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 41.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 30.00% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the primary path if you want the strongest mix of current pricing and available inventory. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a lower entry price outweighs the benefits of shopping this model year’s broader deal availability.
