How much does the 2025 Audi A3 cost?

There are 605 listings available, which suggests you have a workable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Audi A3 a good car?

The 2025 Audi A3 earns an 7.67/10 expert rating, and it’s positioned as a small sedan that delivers a premium feel in a compact package. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Performance.

That lines up with the A3’s appeal: you get a stylish cabin, quality materials, modern tech, and a driving experience that’s described as superior, nimbler, and more engaging than you might expect from a small luxury sedan. The trade-offs are real, though, especially the cramped back seat and limited cargo space.

Trade-offs: the back seat is cramped, cargo space is limited, and the lane-departure warning system is sketchy.

The market looks reasonably active, with 38.8% of listings marked as good or great deals.

Is the 2025 Audi A3 reliable?

The 2025 Audi A3 is presented as a well-built small luxury sedan with a solid, structurally sound feel around town, and its standard powertrain is described as refined and satisfying in real-world driving. The expert evaluation also notes that the transmission is well behaved and the car’s compact size helps it feel nimble and easy to place on the road.

The performance write-up adds that the turbocharged engine and dual-clutch transmission work together smoothly, while the car’s calibration makes it enjoyable on winding roads and stable in everyday use. On the ownership side, the maintenance coverage is typical for the segment, though BMW includes complimentary scheduled maintenance for three years.

For a used buyer, the main long-term risk is that a premium compact sedan can be rewarding to own but less forgiving if you want maximum practicality or the lowest running-cost profile.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Audi A3?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re comparing cars with different wheel, package, or trim combinations. Focus on cabin condition, electronics behavior, and whether the car’s driver-assistance features operate as expected, since the A3’s tech-heavy setup is a major part of its appeal.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: Premium and Premium Plus are the two trim packages, and the Premium Plus is the one that adds the more advanced driver-assistance setup. The base setup already includes a premium-feeling cabin with quality materials, modern tech, and straightforward controls, but the Premium Plus brings the more complete feature set.
• Powertrain: The A3 uses a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 201 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and standard Quattro AWD. It’s tuned for quick, nimble everyday driving rather than outright performance.
• Safety package: Audi Pre Sense Front, which combines forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, is standard, along with lane-departure warning, rear cross-traffic alert, a vehicle exit warning system, and Audi Side Assist blind-spot monitoring. Premium Plus adds Adaptive Cruise Assist, Lane Guidance, and hands-on detection.
• Infotainment: Standard tech includes a 10.25-inch digital instrumentation panel and a 10.1-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, Audi Connect services, and a six-speaker sound system. The Technology Package adds a larger 12.3-inch Audi Virtual Cockpit Plus display and navigation.
• Fuel efficiency: The A3 is EPA-rated at 28 mpg combined, and the expert evaluation returned 28.4 mpg on its test loop.

Which 2025 Audi A3 trim should I buy?

The 2025 Audi A3 is offered in 2 trim levels: Premium and Premium Plus.

Here's the short version:

• Premium: This is the trim to start with if you want the A3’s core strengths at the lowest entry point: the premium cabin feel, standard wireless smartphone integration, Quattro AWD, and the turbocharged engine’s lively character. It’s the value play if you care most about the A3’s driving experience and upscale basics.
• Premium Plus: This is the best-value trim if you want the A3 to feel more complete, because it adds Adaptive Cruise Assist, Lane Guidance, and hands-on detection, along with the upgraded Sonos premium sound system and SiriusXM 360L. If you want the most polished daily-driver setup, this is the one to target.

The Premium Plus trim adds the more advanced driver-assistance features, while the base trim keeps the standard safety suite.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Audi A3?

The market looks moderate and selective, so you have room to shop, but the best listings may not linger.

• Deal availability: 38.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 605 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.17% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $32,398, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Audi A3's resale value?

The current average of $32,398 sits slightly below last year's $35,280.

That price movement suggests the A3 has softened enough to help you buy more selectively today. If you’re a future seller, it also means you should expect the market to reward clean condition, strong equipment, and well-documented maintenance rather than assuming the car will hold its value aggressively on nameplate alone.

Because the current average is below last year’s level, resale upside is likely to depend more on trim, mileage, and condition than on broad market momentum. A well-kept example with desirable equipment should be easier to move than a stripped or heavily worn one.

Is the 2025 Audi A3 safe?

The 2025 Audi A3 earns its top rating in a small overlap front crash test from IIHS, and it had not yet received NHTSA ratings at the time of publication.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Audi Pre Sense Front is standard and includes forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking. Standard equipment also includes lane-departure warning, rear cross-traffic alert, a vehicle exit warning system, and Audi Side Assist blind-spot monitoring. Premium Plus adds Adaptive Cruise Assist, Lane Guidance, and hands-on detection.

One caveat is that the lane-departure warning system regularly issued false alerts, though they were subtle vibrations rather than harsh warnings.

Should I buy a 2025 Audi A3 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 38.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.17% compared with last year.
• The refreshed setup adds standard Quattro AWD and additional standard features, while the expert verdict highlights the car’s fun-to-drive character, premium materials, and strong tech.

The bottom line: If you want the most appealing version of the A3’s compact-luxury formula, the 2025 is the one to focus on because it combines the refreshed equipment list with a strong expert assessment and a market that’s become more favorable than it was a year ago. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can still shop carefully and look for the best-equipped example you can find, but the 2025’s added standard content makes it the cleaner choice.
