Why it stands out
The 2024 Toyota 4Runner remains a solid choice for those seeking reliable off-road performance and spacious interior comfort. Notably, it offers a robust 4.0-liter V6 engine yielding 270 horsepower, perfect for those tackling tough terrains. However, it has been critiqued for its aging platform and lack of modern technology compared to newer competitors like the Ford Bronco and Jeep Wrangler. While it excels off-road, on-road handling can feel sluggish, and its fuel economy—rated at 16 mpg city—is less than impressive. The interior blends old-school aesthetics with practicality, providing ample cargo space and a straightforward layout. However, the outdated infotainment system may turn off some tech-savvy buyers. As it stands, the 4Runner maintains its appeal due to its legendary durability and spaciousness for families and adventurers alike.

This is one of the best cars on the market. The only thing i think its missing is a leveling kit. Having it sit a little higher i think makes it easier to see/ safer. The reliability and low car maintenance make this a great option for someone who doesnt want to spend money on repairs.
