Is the 2024 Porsche Panamera a good car?

The 2024 Porsche Panamera stands out because it is a heavily updated version of the second-generation car, and it still blends sportiness and luxury with four-door practicality. It remains a distinctive choice if you want a combustion-engine Porsche sedan with real performance character, and the lineup is broad and performance-focused.

That makes it a strong fit if you value a premium driving experience and want a sedan that can still handle everyday use. The market also shows 32.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Porsche Panamera reliable?

The 2024 Porsche Panamera stands out because it is a heavily updated version of the second-generation car, retaining much of its basic structure while adding updated powertrains, tech, and bodywork changes. It also keeps the brand’s four-door practicality, which has long been part of its appeal.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a high-performance luxury car can be expensive to maintain if you buy a poorly cared-for example.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Porsche Panamera?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the car’s service records match its mileage and age. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a performance-oriented luxury sedan where repairs can be costly if something has been neglected. Focus on overall condition, tire wear, brake wear, and evidence of consistent maintenance.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Porsche Panamera?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 32.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 401 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.58% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 92.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $91,269, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Porsche Panamera's resale value?

The current average of $91,302 sits slightly below last year's $100,980.

That price movement suggests the used market has cooled, which can help you buy more confidently today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the car is equipped. If you keep the car clean, well maintained, and documented, you should be in a better position when it is time to sell.

Should I buy a 2024 Porsche Panamera or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 32.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.58% compared with last year.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $80,997, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $91,302 average.
• It offers a diverse lineup with multiple body styles and drivetrains.

The bottom line: If you want the newer model-year market with stronger inventory quality and a softer price trend, the 2024 is the better primary target. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2023 is the more budget-friendly path and still gives you a broad, practical Panamera experience.
