Used 2024 Nissan Rogue for Sale nearAnaheim, CA

How much does the 2024 Nissan Rogue cost?

Prices have softened 12.99% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 9,851 listings available, which gives you a healthy amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Nissan Rogue a good car?

Generally — the 2024 Nissan Rogue earns a 4.2/5 user rating and a 7.3/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, and Technology.

The Rogue’s appeal is strongest if you want a compact crossover with refreshed styling, a more premium-feeling cabin in higher trims, and a tech-forward setup centered on Google built-in apps. The overview and test-drive data both point to a vehicle that feels more modern than its basic mission might suggest, especially if you value daily usability and a well-equipped interior.

The main trade-offs are its poor ride quality and only fairly pedestrian overall performance. That means you should expect the Rogue to make more sense as a practical, comfort-oriented commuter than as a sporty choice.

The market looks reasonably supportive, with 35.1% of listings marked as good or great deals.

Is the 2024 Nissan Rogue reliable?

Owners rate it 4.2/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Rogue’s reliability case is helped by its mainstream mission, average warranty coverage, and a powertrain that is described as an engineering curiosity with strong output for the class. The performance notes also suggest the engine is a standout relative to rivals, which can matter when you’re thinking about long-term drivability and confidence.

For used buyers, the biggest ownership risk is less about outright complexity than about making sure the vehicle has been maintained well and still feels tight on the road.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Nissan Rogue?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on any candidate, even if the listing looks clean at first glance. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, and pay close attention to how the suspension, infotainment, and driver-assistance features behave in real-world use. Condition matters most on a model like this because the Rogue’s appeal depends heavily on its tech, cabin quality, and everyday comfort.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup includes S, SV, SL, and Platinum models. Base Rogue S models get 17-inch wheels, while SV models add 18-inch wheels and new interior materials on nearly every surface. SL and Platinum models bring the larger 12.3-inch touchscreen, and Platinum adds leather seats, quilted stitching, and a more upscale cabin feel.
• Powertrain: The Rogue uses a 1.5-liter turbocharged three-cylinder VC-Turbo engine with 201 horsepower and 225 pound-feet of torque. It comes with a CVT, standard front-wheel drive, and available all-wheel drive.
• Safety package: Standard driver-assistance features include automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, and rear automatic emergency braking. ProPilot Assist is standard on SV and a more advanced version is standard on SL and Platinum.
• Infotainment: S and SV models come with an 8-inch touchscreen and wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. SL and Platinum models upgrade to a 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, Amazon Alexa connectivity, and Google built-in apps.
• Fuel efficiency: EPA fuel economy ratings weren’t available at publication, but the model is expected to deliver about 33 mpg combined, with 30 mpg city and 37 mpg highway for FWD models, and 31 mpg combined, with 28 mpg city and 35 mpg highway for AWD models.

Which 2024 Nissan Rogue trim should I buy?

The 2024 Nissan Rogue is offered in 4 trim levels: S, SV, SL, and Platinum.

Here's the short version:

• S: This is the entry point, and it gives you the core Rogue experience with the 8-inch touchscreen, wired smartphone integration, and standard safety equipment. It makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the model.
• SV: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds new interior materials, 18-inch wheels, and the standard version of ProPilot Assist. It also keeps the Rogue’s tech-forward character without pushing you into the highest price tiers.
• SL: This trim is the sweet spot if you want the larger 12.3-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone connectivity, the digital instrument cluster, and a more advanced driver-assist setup.
• Platinum: This is the most upscale version, with leather seats, quilted stitching, a more premium cabin, and the most polished presentation in the lineup. It suits you best if comfort and appearance matter more than value.

The safety package starts with standard driver-assistance features on all trims, while ProPilot Assist is standard on SV and the more advanced version is reserved for SL and Platinum.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Nissan Rogue?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market.

• Deal availability: 35.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 9,851 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.99% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $20,769, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Nissan Rogue's resale value?

The current average of $20,769 sits slightly below last year's $23,870.

That price drop suggests the Rogue is currently in a softer resale position than it was a year ago. If you’re planning to sell later, that means your return will depend more on condition, mileage, and trim than on broad market momentum alone.

The good news is that the Rogue still has broad appeal thanks to its tech, comfort, and mainstream positioning. Well-kept examples should remain easier to move than less popular or less equipped alternatives.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.2/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Nissan Rogue safe?

The 2024 Rogue received top “Good” ratings in the small-overlap front crash test, the original-format moderate-overlap front test, and the original side-impact test from IIHS. It also received an “Acceptable” rating in the updated side-impact test, and a “Good” headlight rating. It earns five-star ratings in side crash tests and four-star ratings in rollover and frontal crash tests from NHTSA.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard driver-assistance features include automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, and rear automatic emergency braking. ProPilot Assist is standard on the SV trim, while SL and Platinum get a more advanced version that can use navigation data to help slow for curves and interchanges.

The main caveat is the updated side-impact IIHS result, which is weaker than the Rogue’s other crash-test scores. Even so, the overall safety picture is still solid for the class.

Should I buy a 2024 Nissan Rogue or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 35.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.99% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.2/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• It brings refreshed styling and a Google built-in tech overhaul.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $21,774, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $20,769 average.
• It adds a Midnight Edition package and Alexa compatibility.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $23,004, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $20,769 average.
• It adds Rock Creek adventure gear and newer highway driving assist tech.

The bottom line: If you want the best mix of price, fresh tech, and broad availability, the 2024 is the strongest default choice. If you’re shopping strictly on value, a well-priced 2023 can still make sense, while the 2025 is better if you want the newer feature set and can pay more.
