Is the 2024 Nissan Pathfinder a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Nissan Pathfinder earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner approval. It stands out as a family-focused midsize SUV with three rows of seating, a spacious cabin, and a smooth ride, while still offering modern features and everyday comfort. Is the 2024 Nissan Pathfinder reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Pathfinder is described as a well-rounded family SUV with a comfortable interior, useful technology, and strong everyday versatility. Its core mechanical setup carries over with few changes, which can be reassuring if you prefer a proven formula over a major redesign. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure the vehicle has been maintained well, since condition and service history matter more than the model’s broad appeal.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Nissan Pathfinder?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the report carefully, because even a strong accident-free share does not guarantee the individual listing you are considering is clean. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on the cabin electronics, seating condition, and overall wear, since those are the areas you will live with every day. If you are comparing multiple listings, pay close attention to maintenance records and how well the vehicle matches the family-use role this SUV is built for.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Nissan Pathfinder?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay patient.

• Deal availability: 39.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 5,910 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.37% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $30,232, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Nissan Pathfinder's resale value?

The current average of $30,232 sits slightly below last year's $34,108.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy at a better entry point but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. For future sellers, a softer market means condition, mileage, and documentation matter even more when it comes time to list the vehicle. If you keep the SUV clean, well maintained, and accident-free, you give yourself the best chance to hold value better than average.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Nissan Pathfinder or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 39.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.37% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $29,197, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $30,232 average.
• It adds the Rock Creek trim for a tougher look and added personality.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $32,139, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $30,232 average.
• It brings slight updates that make the SUV more appealing overall.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the best all-around pick if you want the current-year balance of price, inventory, and owner satisfaction. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2023 is the smarter value play, especially if you find one in strong condition and do not need the latest model-year pricing.
