That kind of response suggests the Frontier has the basics covered for long-term ownership, especially if you want a straightforward midsize pickup rather than something overly complicated. What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Nissan Frontier?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report so you can confirm the truck’s background and spot any hidden issues. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the suspension, steering feel, brakes, and cabin condition, especially if the truck was used for towing or off-road driving. Focus on how the truck drives and whether the features you care about work properly, since condition matters more than mileage alone on a pickup like this.

That softer pricing can help you buy more efficiently now, but it also means future sellers may need to stay realistic on asking price if the market remains steady. If you keep the truck in clean condition and avoid overpaying up front, you should be in a better position when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Nissan Frontier or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 35.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.55% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $31,513, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $31,894 average.
• It feels established and well-equipped.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $34,453, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $31,894 average.
• It adds more standard safety tech and a larger touchscreen.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the best all-around choice if you want a strong mix of value, owner satisfaction, and available inventory. If your priority is saving money, the 2023 is the better budget path; if you want newer features and can spend more, the 2025 is the upgrade path.
