Used 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC for Sale nearSaint Paul, MN

How much does the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC cost?

Prices have softened 11.01% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,378 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.17/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel and Technology.

The GLC is positioned as a compact premium SUV with an upscale cabin, a highly functional voice-command system, and improved ride quality compared with its predecessor. It also earned excellent scores from independent safety organizations, which supports its appeal if you want a luxury crossover that balances everyday usability with polish.

The trade-offs are that desirable advanced driver-assistance systems are not standard, cargo space is limited especially in the Coupe, and some features you may want cost extra. Even so, the market shows 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still attractive opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The GLC’s appeal here comes from its refined, premium character and the way it combines everyday usability with a polished driving experience. The expert review also points to improved ride quality and strong safety performance, both of which matter when you plan to keep a vehicle for the long haul.

Its performance and ownership profile suggest a well-sorted luxury SUV rather than a high-strung one, though the more specialized AMG version is firmer and less commuter-friendly. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that the features you want may be bundled into pricier packages, so condition and equipment verification matter.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the specific car matches the equipment you want, especially because some desirable driver-assistance and convenience features are optional. A pre-purchase inspection is worth prioritizing, particularly if you’re considering a higher-spec or AMG example where ride quality and feature content can vary more.

Focus on overall condition, package content, and whether the car has the safety and tech features you expect for the price.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The cabin is richly appointed, but the base setup still leaves room for feature gaps, and some desirable equipment is reserved for higher trims or packages.
• Powertrain: The lineup includes a mild-hybrid turbo-four in the GLC 300 and a more powerful AMG turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 416 horsepower; the AMG setup is quicker but firmer and less commuter-friendly.
• Safety package: Standard safety equipment includes active brake assist, attention assist, blind-spot and exit warning assist, adaptive braking technology, active parking assist, and Pre-Safe. The Driver Assistance Package adds adaptive cruise control, active steering assist, and active lane-keeping assist.
• Infotainment: You get an 11.9-inch center screen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and Mercedes’ third-generation MBUX system with a strong voice-command setup. Navigation, a Burmester sound system, and a head-up display are available on higher trims.
• Fuel efficiency: The GLC 300 SUV is rated at 29 mpg combined in rear-wheel-drive form and 27 mpg combined with AWD, while the AMG powertrain returns 21 mpg combined.

Which 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC trim should I buy?

The 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC is offered in 4 trim levels: GLC 300 SUV, GLC 300 Coupe, AMG GLC 43 SUV, AMG GLC 43 Coupe.

Here's the short version:

• GLC 300 SUV: This is the best-value choice if you want the core GLC experience with the lowest starting price and the strongest efficiency. It gives you the upscale cabin, the 11.9-inch screen, wireless smartphone integration, and the refined everyday character that defines the model.
• GLC 300 Coupe: Choose this only if you specifically want the sleeker roofline and are willing to trade some practicality for style. It comes with standard AWD, but the Coupe shape is less cargo-friendly.
• AMG GLC 43 SUV: This is the pick for you if you want the most engaging version and can live with a firmer ride. It adds serious power and a more performance-focused character, but it is not the best match for most commuters.
• AMG GLC 43 Coupe: This is the most style-forward and most specialized version, but it also combines the Coupe’s practicality trade-offs with the AMG’s firmer tuning and higher price.

The Driver Assistance Package is the key safety-package note to keep in mind, since several popular active safety features are not standard.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,378 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.01% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $41,448, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC's resale value?

The current average of $41,670 sits slightly below last year's $46,826.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable point in the cycle. For a future seller, that also means resale value will depend heavily on how well your vehicle is equipped and how cleanly it presents in the used market.

Because the model is still in demand as a luxury crossover, a well-kept example with the right features should remain easier to move than a neglected one. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC safe?

The 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC earned a Top Safety Pick+ award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), that institution’s highest honor.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety features on the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe and SUV include active brake assist, attention assist, blind-spot and exit warning assist, adaptive braking technology, active parking assist, and Pre-Safe. The version on the 2024 GLC also emits a “pink noise” sound through the audio system to help trigger a response in passengers’ ear canals and reduce the impact of crash-related noise.

One important caveat is that desirable advanced driver-assistance systems are not standard. You would have to add the Driver Assistance Package to get adaptive cruise control, active steering assist, and active lane-keeping assist.

Should I buy a 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.01% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• AMG variants rejoin the lineup, making the range more complete.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $37,647, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $41,670 average.
• It emphasizes comfort and refinement over flash.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $47,771, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $41,670 average.
• It adds a simplified lineup and a new plug-in hybrid variant.

The bottom line: If you want the most complete version of this generation’s GLC lineup, the 2024 is the better all-around target. If your priority is saving money, the 2023 is the smarter value play, while the 2025 makes sense if you want the newer revisions and are willing to pay more.
