Used 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC for Sale nearSaint Louis, MO

How much does the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC cost?

Prices have softened 11.61% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,381 listings available, which suggests you have a healthy amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.17/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel and Technology.

The 2024 GLC is positioned as a refined luxury crossover with a polished second-generation design, a highly functional voice-command system, an improved ride compared with its predecessor, and strong safety credentials. It also broadens the lineup beyond the original launch setup, which gives you more choice if you want something beyond the standard GLC 300.

The trade-offs are clear: desirable advanced driver-assistance systems are not standard, limited cargo space is a drawback, especially in the Coupe, and some features you may want cost extra. The AMG-tuned version is the focus of the review, but the broader takeaway is that you’re looking at a premium small SUV that emphasizes comfort, tech, and safety over value.

35.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which is a decent sign of market flexibility.

Is the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 GLC comes across as a well-finished luxury crossover with a strong emphasis on comfort and usability. The expert review highlights an improved ride, premium interior materials, and a voice-command system that works especially well in daily use, all of which support the idea that it should feel solid and easy to live with over time.

The performance side also points to a capable, modern powertrain lineup, including a turbocharged four-cylinder with mild-hybrid assistance and a more powerful AMG setup. That said, the firmer ride in performance versions and the extra-cost nature of some desirable equipment mean you should pay close attention to how a used example was optioned and maintained.

If you’re buying used, the main long-term ownership risk is ending up with a lightly equipped or heavily worn example that doesn’t deliver the comfort and convenience you expect from a Mercedes.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and verify that the vehicle’s equipment matches the trim and options you want. A pre-purchase inspection is especially important if you’re considering a higher-spec or AMG version, since ride quality, feature content, and maintenance expectations can vary meaningfully. Focus on overall condition, option packages, and whether the car has the driver-assistance and tech features you expect.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup includes a base GLC 300, a GLC 300 4Matic, the GLC Coupe, and AMG variants. The base setup leaves out some desirable equipment, and the review makes clear that many shoppers will want to step up for more content.
• Powertrain: The GLC 300 uses a mild-hybrid turbo-four with 255 hp, while the AMG version uses a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 416 horsepower and a 48-volt mild-hybrid system. The AMG setup is quicker but rides firmer and shifts more abruptly.
• Safety package: Standard safety features include active brake assist, attention assist, blind-spot and exit warning assist, adaptive braking technology, active parking assist, and Pre-Safe. Adaptive cruise control, active steering assist, and active lane-keeping assist require the Driver Assistance Package.
• Infotainment: The GLC uses an 11.9-inch center screen with the third-generation MBUX system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a highly usable voice-command system. The Exclusive trim adds navigation, a 15-speaker Burmester 3D surround sound system, and the off-road dash display with Transparent Hood; the Pinnacle trim adds a head-up display and augmented reality navigation.
• Fuel efficiency: The GLC 300 SUV returns 29 mpg combined in rear-wheel-drive form and 27 mpg combined with AWD, while the AMG powertrain returns 21 mpg combined.

Which 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC trim should I buy?

The 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC is offered in 4 trim levels: GLC 300, GLC 300 4Matic, GLC Coupe, AMG GLC 43.

Here's the short version:

• GLC 300: This is the most affordable path into the GLC, and it gives you the core luxury crossover experience with the efficient mild-hybrid turbo-four. It makes the most sense if you want the best value and don’t need the extra performance or standard AWD of the higher variants.
• GLC 300 4Matic: This is the better pick if you want the base powertrain with AWD, especially for all-weather confidence. It adds traction without moving you into the much pricier AMG territory.
• GLC Coupe: Choose this only if you specifically want the sleeker roofline and are willing to give up some practicality. It’s the style-first choice, not the value choice.
• AMG GLC 43: This is the enthusiast pick, with 416 horsepower, standard AWD, and sharper performance hardware. It suits you best if driving excitement matters more than ride comfort or everyday value.

For safety-minded shoppers, note that the Driver Assistance Package is still required to add several popular active safety features.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory to shop carefully but not so much that every listing is deeply discounted.

• Deal availability: 35.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,381 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.61% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $41,534, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC's resale value?

The current average of $41,534 sits slightly below last year's $46,989.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer but may pressure future resale if you overpay today. If you plan to sell later, buying near the low end of the range gives you more room to absorb depreciation.

The GLC’s strong brand appeal and premium positioning should still support demand, especially for well-equipped examples in clean condition. But the current trend shows that shoppers are being more selective, so trim, mileage, and option content will matter when it’s time to resell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC safe?

The 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC earned a Top Safety Pick+ award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), that institution’s highest honor.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety features on the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe and SUV include active brake assist, attention assist, blind-spot and exit warning assist, adaptive braking technology, active parking assist, and Pre-Safe. If it detects an imminent crash, Pre-Safe tightens the seatbelts, closes the windows and moonroof if equipped, and repositions the front passenger seat.

A key caveat is that desirable advanced driver-assistance systems are not standard. You need the Driver Assistance Package to add adaptive cruise control, active steering assist, and active lane-keeping assist. The standard front crash-prevention system also earned only an Acceptable rating, while the optional upgraded version earned Good.

Should I buy a 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 35.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.61% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• AMG variants rejoin the lineup, broadening the range beyond the original launch setup.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $38,200, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $41,534 average.
• It offers a conservative redesign with a refined cabin and easygoing character.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $48,165, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $41,534 average.
• It adds a new plug-in hybrid variant and a simplified trim lineup.

The bottom line: If you want the broadest 2024-era choice set and strong safety credentials, the 2024 is the better all-around pick. If price matters most, the 2023 is the smarter value play. If you want the newest revisions and can spend more, the 2025 is worth a look.
