It stands out as a compact luxury SUV that prioritizes space and versatility, with a boxier shape and upright stance that help create a roomier cabin. The GLB’s appeal comes from its practical packaging, roomier cabin, and flexible seating layout, all of which support everyday usability. The 2024 refresh also keeps the model current with updated styling and added hybrid assist on the 2.0-liter turbocharged engines. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure the features and condition match your expectations, since desirable equipment is not standard across every example.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLB?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report on any listing you’re seriously considering, even when the market looks clean. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection so you can check the condition of the interior tech, seating, and other high-use features that matter in a premium SUV. Focus especially on overall wear, evidence of prior repairs, and whether the vehicle’s equipment matches the listing details.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLB?

This looks like a buyer’s market, with pricing down and a decent share of listings offering real value.

• Deal availability: 40.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 880 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.37% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 92.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $32,829, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLB's resale value?

The current average of $32,829 sits slightly below last year's $38,340.

That price movement suggests the GLB has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future sellers if the market stabilizes. If you buy at the right price now, you may have less downside left than a shopper who paid closer to last year’s average. Strong demand for a roomy, practical compact luxury SUV can also help support used-market interest over time.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLB or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 40.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.37% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2024 GLB is the right pick if you want the updated look, standard larger screens, and a strong mix of space and flexibility in a compact luxury SUV. If your priority is stretching your budget, a nearby older year may be worth considering, but the 2024 is the better all-around choice if you want the refreshed package and can find one priced near the lower end of the market.
