Used 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLE for Sale near New Jersey

How much does the 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLE cost?

Prices have softened 2.14% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 408 listings available, which suggests you have a workable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLE a good car?

The 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLE earns an expert rating of 7.17/10 and is positioned as a premium two-door that balances comfort, technology, and refinement with everyday usability.

The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel and Technology.

It is described as sized just right, with broad appeal for buyers who want a luxury coupe or convertible without giving up too much practicality. The trade-offs are clear: the cabin prioritizes style and refinement over utility, and cargo space is limited.

Good value for the money: the CLE 300 4Matic should satisfy most drivers, while the CLE 450 is the smoother and stronger choice if you want more power.

There are 36.3% of listings priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLE reliable?

The 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLE is presented as a polished, well-sorted luxury coupe with a smooth powertrain and a cabin that feels special. Its turbocharged engines are described as unusually smooth and quiet, and the suspension is tuned to erase bumps while staying composed in corners.

The performance notes also point to an easygoing character in daily driving, with both the base and upgraded powertrains delivering effortless operation. The cost-effectiveness notes reinforce that the CLE is meant to cover the role of the coupes it replaces without feeling compromised.

If you plan to keep one long term, the main ownership risk for used buyers is that luxury-car upkeep can become expensive once warranty coverage fades.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLE?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you are comparing coupe and Cabriolet examples. Focus on overall condition, because this is a luxury two-door where cosmetic wear, feature content, and prior use can matter as much as mileage.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The CLE is available as either a coupe or Cabriolet, and the AMG CLE 53 variant adds a more aggressive look with a widened stance and wider wheels and tires. The base setup is more understated, while the AMG version is the one for buyers who want the racier appearance and stronger performance character.
• Powertrain: The CLE 300 4Matic uses a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with a 48-volt mild hybrid system, while the CLE 450 4Matic upgrades to a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six. The AMG CLE 53 sits at the top with even more output and an overboost function.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking, parking proximity sensors, a blind-spot monitor, a semi-automated parking system, automatic high beams, and a driver attention monitor. Adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, cross-traffic collision alert, evasive steering assist, a surround-view camera system, an integrated dashcam, and a low-level automated highway driving system are available.
• Infotainment: The CLE uses an 11.9-inch infotainment touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and augmented reality guidance in the available head-up display and infotainment screen. MBUX voice control is a major strength, and the system also supports steering-wheel touchpads.
• Fuel efficiency: No fuel-economy figure is stated in the available data.

Which 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLE trim should I buy?

The 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLE is offered in 3 trim levels: CLE 300 4Matic, CLE 450 4Matic, AMG CLE 53 Coupe.

Here's the short version:

• CLE 300 4Matic: This is the best-value choice if you want the CLE experience at the lowest entry point. It still brings the smooth turbo four, mild-hybrid assist, all-wheel drive, and the core luxury and tech content that define the model.
• CLE 450 4Matic: This is the sweet spot for most shoppers. It adds the turbo inline-six, stronger acceleration, and smoother operation without pushing all the way into AMG territory.
• AMG CLE 53 Coupe: Choose this if you want the most aggressive styling and the strongest performance character in the lineup. It is the least comfort-focused option and is best for buyers who prioritize speed and presence.

Standard safety equipment is comprehensive, while more advanced driver-assistance features remain available rather than standard.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLE?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it makes sense to compare listings carefully and move quickly on strong examples.

• Deal availability: 36.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 408 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.14% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 95.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $56,677, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLE's resale value?

The current average of $57,079 sits slightly below last year's $58,328.

That decline suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy more confidently today. For a future seller, it also means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and equipment.

Because the CLE is a premium two-door with a relatively narrow buyer pool, well-kept examples should hold up better than neglected ones. Strong presentation and desirable trim content will matter when it is time to sell.

Is the 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLE safe?

The 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLE has no crash test results yet from either NHTSA or IIHS.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard advanced safety features include frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking, parking proximity sensors, a blind-spot monitor, a semi-automated parking system, automatic high beams, and a driver attention monitor. Available upgrades include adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, cross-traffic collision alert, evasive steering assist, a surround-view camera system, an integrated dashcam, and a low-level automated highway driving system.

In testing, the systems operated as expected, and the adaptive cruise control was praised for smooth behavior in traffic.

Should I buy a 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLE or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 36.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.14% compared with last year.
• It delivers a fresh redesign that replaces both the C-Class and E-Class coupes and convertibles with strong results.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $63,681, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $57,079 average.
• It adds three distinct trims and a more clearly defined in-betweener role.

The bottom line: If you want the better value, the 2024 is the smarter starting point because pricing has eased and the model already delivers the core CLE formula. If you want the newer-year alternative and are willing to pay more, the 2025 is worth a look.
