Used 2024 Lexus TX for Sale near South Carolina

How much does the 2024 Lexus TX cost?

Prices have softened 5.94% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 712 listings available, which gives you a meaningful pool to compare trims, mileage, and condition.

Is the 2024 Lexus TX a good car?

The 2024 Lexus TX earns an expert rating of 7.2/10.

The standout strength is Form and function at 8/10.

It is aimed at the typical three-row luxury SUV buyer who spends almost all their time on paved roads, and it comes across as a new Lexus SUV that gets most things right. You also get multiple powertrain options, a comfortable and quiet cabin, and impressive technology, which makes it appealing if you want a family-focused luxury SUV that emphasizes everyday usability and refinement.

The trade-offs are worth weighing: the front styling may be polarizing, the TX 350 engine lacks the refinement some buyers may expect, and the steering-wheel controls can be aggravating.

With 34.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Lexus TX reliable?

The 2024 Lexus TX is positioned as a mainstream three-row luxury SUV for paved-road use, and its overall setup is aimed at everyday family duty rather than hard use. The expert evaluation also describes the ride and handling as just right, with a compliant suspension, commendable body control, accurate steering, and a quiet highway cabin.

The turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder is described as working well enough for typical driving situations with no more than four people aboard, and the AWD setup adds traction in rain and snow. That said, the engine note can be grating, and the FWD version can hint at torque steer.

Lexus also includes a broad set of driver-assistance and connected features, and the available maintenance and ownership services add convenience for day-to-day use. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about ruggedness and more about whether the vehicle’s technology and controls suit you over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Lexus TX?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you are considering a higher-mileage example or one with optional equipment. Focus on cabin condition, control usability, and whether the technology package features work the way you expect in daily driving.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The TX 350 is the volume-selling version, and it comes in base, Premium, and Luxury trim. The Luxury trim adds upgraded ambient interior lighting and premium semi-aniline leather upholstery with artificial suede trim, while the test vehicle’s darker interior showed how trim and color choices can affect the cabin’s feel.
• Powertrain: The TX 350 uses a turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine with 275 horsepower and 317 pound-feet of torque. It works well enough for typical driving, but the engine note can be grating, and FWD models can show hints of torque steer.
• Safety package: Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 includes adaptive cruise control with curve speed adjustment, forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, intersection assist, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centering assist, road sign assist, and automatic high-beam headlights. Blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and safe exit assist are also included, while traffic jam assist is optional.
• Infotainment: The TX uses a 14-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The optional Technology Package adds a 12.3-inch digital instrumentation panel, a head-up display, a digital rearview mirror, a surround-view camera, and semi-autonomous parking assist.
• Fuel efficiency: The TX 350 FWD is rated at 23 mpg in combined driving, and the test vehicle averaged 20.4 mpg during testing.

Which 2024 Lexus TX trim should I buy?

The 2024 Lexus TX is offered in 3 trim levels: TX 350, TX 500h F Sport Performance, and TX 550h+ plug-in hybrid model series.

Here's the short version:

• TX 350: This is the version Lexus expected to be the volume seller, and it’s the one to focus on if you want the core TX experience with the turbocharged four-cylinder and either FWD or AWD. It’s the best-value starting point if you want the TX’s comfort, quiet cabin, and technology without moving into the pricier electrified variants.
• TX 500h F Sport Performance: Choose this if you want the performance-tuned hybrid variant mentioned in the expert evaluation. It stands apart as the sportier powertrain choice in the lineup.
• TX 550h+: This plug-in hybrid model series is the most specialized option in the lineup, and it’s the one to consider if you want the plug-in hybrid powertrain mentioned in the expert evaluation.

Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 is standard, and the available traffic jam assist system is part of the broader safety story.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Lexus TX?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without assuming every listing is a bargain.

• Deal availability: 34.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 712 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.94% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 94.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $52,273, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Lexus TX's resale value?

The current average of $52,273 sits slightly below last year's $55,575.

That price movement suggests the TX has softened enough to create a better entry point for used buyers than it had a year ago. If you buy well now, you may be starting from a more favorable basis than someone who paid closer to last year’s average.

For a future seller, the current trend means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and equipment. Well-kept examples with desirable features should hold up better than average, but the softer market means you should not assume a quick rebound.

Is the 2024 Lexus TX safe?

The 2024 Lexus TX earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 includes adaptive cruise control with curve speed adjustment, forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, intersection assist, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centering assist, road sign assist, and automatic high-beam headlights.

Proactive Drive Assist is also part of the package, and it can add braking and steering assistance to help maintain a safe following distance and avoid obstacles. The TX also includes blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and safe exit assist, with traffic jam assist available as an option.

The system is generally smooth, accurate, and effective, though it can slow too dramatically when other motorists cut into the gap ahead of the TX. That behavior is worth keeping in mind if you spend a lot of time in dense traffic.

Should I buy a 2024 Lexus TX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 34.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.94% compared with last year.
• The 2024 stands out for offering multiple powertrain options, a comfortable and quiet cabin, and impressive technology.

The bottom line: If you want the TX’s core strengths now, the 2024 is a sensible buy because it combines a softer price trend with strong inventory quality and the features that define the model. If you are especially price-sensitive, keep shopping for the best-equipped example in the 2024 pool rather than stretching for a newer year.
