How much does the 2024 Lexus TX cost?

Prices have softened 5.88% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 714 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Lexus TX a good car?

The 2024 Lexus TX earns a 7.2/10 expert rating, and Lexus positions it as a family-focused three-row luxury SUV for buyers who spend most of their time on paved roads.

The standout strength is Form and function at 8/10.

That lines up with the TX’s appeal as a comfortable, quiet, and technology-rich luxury SUV that gets most things right for everyday use. The trade-offs are that its front styling may not be for everyone, the TX 350 engine lacks the refinement some buyers may expect, and the steering-wheel controls can be aggravating. If you want a three-row luxury SUV that emphasizes refinement and usability over rugged capability, this is the kind of setup that fits. 39.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2024 Lexus TX reliable?

The 2024 Lexus TX is presented as a well-rounded three-row luxury SUV that focuses on paved-road use, and the expert review describes it as getting most things right.

Its turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder powertrain is described as working well enough for typical driving situations, and the ride, handling, and highway quietness all support an easy ownership experience. The expert review also says the available driver-assistance systems are smooth, accurate, and effective overall. Lexus includes complimentary three-year Drive Connect, plus free 10-year Service Connect and Safety Connect subscriptions, which add useful connected features and ownership convenience.

For a used buyer, the main long-term risk is that the TX’s refinement and control layout may bother you more over time if you’re sensitive to engine noise or interface quirks.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Lexus TX?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-trim example with more equipment. Focus on overall condition, how the controls operate, and whether the cabin and technology features work the way you expect.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The TX 350 is offered in base, Premium, and Luxury trims. The base setup is the simplest version, while Luxury adds upgraded ambient interior lighting and premium semi-aniline leather upholstery with artificial suede trim.
• Powertrain: The TX 350 uses a turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine with 275 horsepower and 317 pound-feet of torque. Lexus says AWD improves acceleration and traction, while FWD can bring hints of torque steer.
• Safety package: Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 includes adaptive cruise control with curve speed adjustment, forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, intersection assist, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centering assist, road sign assist, and automatic high-beam headlights. Blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and safe exit assist are also included.
• Infotainment: The TX uses a 14-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The optional Technology Package adds a 12.3-inch digital instrumentation panel, a head-up display, a digital rearview mirror, a surround-view camera, and semi-autonomous parking assist.
• Fuel efficiency: The TX 350 FWD is rated at 23 mpg in combined driving, and the test vehicle averaged 20.4 mpg during evaluation.

Which 2024 Lexus TX trim should I buy?

The 2024 Lexus TX is offered in 3 trim levels: TX 350, TX 500h F Sport Performance, and TX 550h+ plug-in hybrid model series.

Here's the short version:

• TX 350: This is the volume-selling version, and it’s the one the review team tested. It gives you the core TX experience with the turbocharged four-cylinder, FWD or AWD, and the luxury-focused cabin that makes the model appealing in the first place.
• TX 500h F Sport Performance: This is the performance-tuned hybrid choice, so it’s the one to consider if you want the most athletic powertrain flavor in the lineup.
• TX 550h+: This plug-in hybrid model is the most specialized option, and it’s the one to look at if you want plug-in capability in the TX lineup.

Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 is standard, and the available Technology Package adds useful equipment, but it also brings the steering-wheel control setup that the review team found frustrating.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Lexus TX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop, compare, and wait for the right listing.

• Deal availability: 39.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 714 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.88% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $52,139, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Lexus TX's resale value?

The current average of $52,139 sits slightly below last year's $55,398.

That tells you the TX has softened in the used market, which can help you as a buyer today. If you plan to sell later, the current trend suggests you should expect some depreciation pressure rather than a quick rebound.

For a future seller, the best protection is buying well and keeping the vehicle in strong condition. A clean history, good maintenance, and desirable equipment should help you stand out when it’s time to list.

Is the 2024 Lexus TX safe?

The 2024 Lexus TX earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 includes adaptive cruise control with curve speed adjustment, forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, intersection assist, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centering assist, road sign assist, and automatic high-beam headlights. Blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and safe exit assist are also included, and traffic jam assist is available as an option.

The system is generally smooth, accurate, and effective, though the review notes that it can slow too dramatically when other motorists cut into the gap ahead of the TX. Proactive Drive Assist is also included, but the review team found it less transparent and ultimately turned it off.

Should I buy a 2024 Lexus TX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

• 39.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.88% compared with last year.
• The 2024 stands out for its multiple powertrain options, comfortable and quiet cabin, and impressive technology.

The bottom line: If you want the TX’s core strengths at a softer used price, the 2024 is a sensible place to start. If you’re especially price-sensitive, keep shopping the market for a lower-mileage example or a better-equipped listing that lands near the low end of the range.
