Used 2024 Land Rover Range Rover Sport for Sale near Illinois

How much does the 2024 Land Rover Range Rover Sport cost?

Prices have softened 14.43% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,382 listings available, which suggests you have a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Land Rover Range Rover Sport a good car?

The 2024 Land Rover Range Rover Sport stands out as a luxury SUV that blends serious off-road hardware with high-end performance and a distinctly upscale cabin. It is positioned as a more attainable alternative to the flagship Range Rover while still emphasizing strong road manners and premium presentation, and it remains one of Land Rover’s more popular U.S. models.

For you, that means this model makes the most sense if you want a midsize luxury SUV with genuine off-road ability, strong engines, and a cabin that feels expensive. 36.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Land Rover Range Rover Sport reliable?

Even with its strengths, the Range Rover Sport remains a difficult used buy for many shoppers because reliability, service costs, and fuel consumption are all concerns. The 2024 model also moved more controls into the touchscreen, which may affect day-to-day usability for some buyers.

If you plan to keep one long term, you should expect ownership risk to be higher than average and budget accordingly for maintenance and repairs.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Land Rover Range Rover Sport?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the specific listing has a clean title and consistent service records. Prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially for signs of wear, electronic issues, or neglected maintenance. Focus on overall condition and how well the vehicle has been cared for, since that matters more when you are shopping a premium SUV with potentially expensive upkeep.

What is the 2024 Land Rover Range Rover Sport's resale value?

The current average of $67,948 sits slightly below last year's $79,407.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more confidently today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may be more sensitive to condition, mileage, and maintenance history than to broad market momentum. If you keep the vehicle in excellent shape, you will be better positioned to protect value when it is time to sell.

Should I buy a 2024 Land Rover Range Rover Sport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 36.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.43% compared with last year.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $60,623, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $67,948 average.
• It emphasizes off-road confidence over polished everyday dynamics.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $81,864, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $67,948 average.
• It offers a more stylish, better-handling take on the Range Rover Sport.

The bottom line: You should start with the 2024 if you want the best balance of current-market pricing, strong inventory, and a newer feature set. If price matters most, the 2023 is the smarter path because it costs less and still delivers the core Range Rover Sport experience.
