Is the 2024 Kia Niro EV a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to very strong owner satisfaction for this model year.

That kind of feedback suggests you may be looking at a vehicle that meets expectations well in everyday use, especially if you value a mainstream EV with broad shopper appeal. With 50.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market also gives you room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Kia Niro EV reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

For used buyers, that kind of owner feedback can reduce some of the uncertainty that comes with EV ownership, but you should still verify battery health, charging behavior, and overall condition before you buy.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Kia Niro EV?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

Even with a strong share of clean listings, you should still run a vehicle history report and confirm there are no hidden accident or title issues. Put inspection priority on battery condition, charging equipment, tire wear, and any signs of uneven use or neglect. Focus on overall condition and maintenance consistency, since those details matter most when you want a used EV to feel dependable.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Kia Niro EV?

Yes — this looks like a buyer-friendly market, with decent deal availability and a healthy number of listings to compare.

• Deal availability: 50.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 724 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.74% compared with last year.

What is the 2024 Kia Niro EV's resale value?

The current average of $22,432 sits slightly below last year's $24,579.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can matter if you're planning to sell later. A lower entry price today may help you avoid overpaying, but it can also mean resale upside is more limited if prices stay soft. Strong demand from shoppers looking for a practical EV can still support value, especially when the vehicle is well kept and priced competitively.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Kia Niro EV or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 50.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.74% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $21,674, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $22,432 average.
• It offers a redesigned entry-level EV with broad availability and practical everyday usability.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger current-market mix of pricing, inventory, and owner satisfaction, the 2024 is the better starting point. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2023 is the smarter alternative to compare closely, especially if you find one in excellent condition.
