Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Kia Niro EV?

Yes — this looks like a buyer-friendly moment, with decent deal availability and a healthy supply of listings to compare.

• Deal availability: 41.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 702 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.45% compared with last year.

What is the 2024 Kia Niro EV's resale value?

The current average of $22,159 sits slightly below last year's $23,943.

That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favorable entry point, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays soft. If you plan to sell later, buying well matters even more because your exit price will likely track broader market movement. Strong demand from shoppers looking for a practical EV can help support value, especially when the car has been well maintained.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Kia Niro EV or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 41.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.45% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $21,076, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $22,159 average.
• It offers a redesigned second-generation look with practical cabin space.

The 2024 is the better all-around pick if you want stronger market conditions and a broad pool of listings to shop. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2023 is the more budget-friendly path and still gives you the core Niro EV experience.
