The 2024 Jeep Wagoneer L is a strong fit if you want a large SUV with a lot of space and a market price that has moved down meaningfully from last year. The current average of $34,224 sits well below the prior-year average, which can improve your buying leverage if you shop carefully.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Jeep Wagoneer L?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a large SUV where wear items and prior repairs can be expensive. Focus on overall condition, service records, and whether the vehicle has been used in ways that may have accelerated interior or suspension wear.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Jeep Wagoneer L?

This looks like a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory and pricing softness to reward patience.

• Deal availability: 39.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,448 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 28.73% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 87.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $34,224, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Jeep Wagoneer L's resale value?

The current average of $34,224 sits slightly below last year's $48,021.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point. For a future seller, that also means resale value will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle is maintained. If you buy well now and keep the SUV in strong shape, you may be better positioned when it is time to sell.

Should I buy a 2024 Jeep Wagoneer L or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 39.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 28.73% compared with last year.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $36,357, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $34,224 average.
• It offers more space and a larger cargo area.

The bottom line:
You should start with the 2024 if your priority is value, because the average price is lower and the market offers a decent share of good deals. If you want to compare closely, the 2023 is the better secondary path only if you find one in excellent condition and the added space matters more than the price gap.
