Used 2024 Jeep Gladiator for Sale nearAmarillo, TX

How much does the 2024 Jeep Gladiator cost?

Prices have softened 10.02% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,438 listings available, which gives you a solid pool to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2024 Jeep Gladiator a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Jeep Gladiator earns a 4.5/5 user rating and a 7.3/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Technology.

It stands out as a pickup with removable doors and roof, plus serious off-road capability and useful towing and payload strength. Jeep’s 2024 updates also make it more appealing as a daily driver with revised styling, added comfort and convenience features, and a newer infotainment setup.

The trade-offs are clear: fuel economy is poor, the ride can be rough, and the cabin can be noisy at speed. It also asks you to accept a few compromises in refinement if you want the open-air personality and capability.

Only 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market rewards patience and comparison shopping.

Is the 2024 Jeep Gladiator reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Gladiator’s appeal comes from its durable, purpose-built character: it is designed to handle rough use, and Jeep’s updates add comfort and convenience without stripping away that rugged identity. The truck’s performance focus and off-road hardware also suggest it is built for demanding conditions rather than soft-road commuting.

Jeep also adds over-the-air software updates and a more modern infotainment system, which can help keep the truck feeling current over time. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is accepting a vehicle that prioritizes capability and personality over refinement and efficiency.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Jeep Gladiator?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the truck has been used off-road or for towing. Focus on signs of hard use, interior wear, and any issues tied to the roof, doors, or removable-body hardware.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup starts with the Sport and adds trims like Willys, Mojave, Rubicon, Sport S, Mojave X, and Rubicon X. Base versions are lighter on standard safety equipment, while higher trims add more comfort, convenience, and capability features.
• Powertrain: The 2024 model uses a 3.6-liter V6 with 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque, paired with either a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission. It can tow up to 7,700 pounds and haul up to 1,725 pounds, depending on configuration.
• Safety package: Forward-collision warning and adaptive cruise control with full stop capability are standard starting with the Sport S. Mojave X and Rubicon X add blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert and rear parking sensors.
• Infotainment: The truck gets a 12.3-inch touchscreen with Uconnect 5, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, over-the-air updates, and a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot.
• Fuel efficiency: The EPA says it should return 19 mpg in combined driving, and testing showed 16.7 mpg over more than 175 miles.

Which 2024 Jeep Gladiator trim should I buy?

The 2024 Jeep Gladiator is offered in 7 trim levels: Sport, Willys, Mojave, Rubicon, Sport S, Mojave X, and Rubicon X.

Here's the short version:

• Sport: This is the entry point, but it is the most stripped-down choice and best if you want the lowest starting price and plan to add only what you need.
• Sport S: This is the best-value trim because it adds key safety equipment, including forward-collision warning and adaptive cruise control with full stop capability.
• Willys: Choose this if you want a more trail-focused setup than the base truck without jumping all the way to the specialized desert or rock-crawling models.
• Mojave: This is the one to buy if you want the Gladiator’s desert-running character, with FOX shocks, a front suspension lift, locking rear differential, and off-road-focused hardware.
• Rubicon: Pick this if you want the most serious off-road orientation in the core lineup and prefer a more traditional hardcore Jeep setup.
• Mojave X: This is the better-equipped version of the Mojave, adding premium leather upholstery, 12-way power front seats, and more upscale comfort.
• Rubicon X: This is the most premium off-road trim, pairing the Rubicon’s capability with the same added luxury and convenience upgrades as the Mojave X.

For safety equipment, the most important gap is that blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert and rear parking sensors are reserved for the Mojave X and Rubicon X.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Jeep Gladiator?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you have room to shop carefully without expecting a fire-sale environment.

• Deal availability: 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,438 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.02% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 92.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $37,211, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Jeep Gladiator's resale value?

The current average of $37,211 sits slightly below last year's $41,355.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, the key question is whether the Gladiator’s unique open-air appeal and off-road identity continue to support demand better than a typical midsize truck.

Because the model has a distinct enthusiast following, well-kept examples should remain easier to market than more ordinary pickups. Still, the current price trend means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, trim, and equipment.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Jeep Gladiator safe?

The Jeep Gladiator earns a three-star rollover resistance rating from NHTSA, and IIHS is unimpressed with its headlights, seatbelt warnings, and pedestrian detection and protection systems.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Forward-collision warning and adaptive cruise control with full stop capability are standard starting with the Sport S trim. The Mojave X and Rubicon X add blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert and rear parking sensors.

Jeep also says the 2024 model has structural improvements for side-impact protection and side-curtain airbags integrated into the roll cage. Even so, the rollover rating and the limited standard safety equipment mean you should pay close attention to trim choice if safety is a priority.

Should I buy a 2024 Jeep Gladiator or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.02% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It adds updated styling, a 12.3-inch infotainment system, and more comfort and convenience features.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $33,405, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $37,211 average.
• It emphasizes the Gladiator’s removable-top, removable-door utility and truck usefulness.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $40,010, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $37,211 average.
• It adds more standard convenience on the base trim but loses the manual transmission.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the best all-around choice if you want the updated infotainment, revised styling, and a broader mix of comfort and capability. If price matters most, the 2023 is the value play; if you want the newest version and can spend more, the 2025 is the step-up.

How does the 2024 Jeep Gladiator compare to the 2024 Ford Bronco?

Expert Pros & Cons (per CarGurus review team)

2024 Jeep Gladiator:

• Pros: Doors off, roof off, open-air fun, Impressive off-roading capability, Commendable towing/hauling.
• Cons: Poor fuel economy, Few standard safety features, Questionable value for the money.

2024 Ford Bronco:

• Pros: Fun to drive, Comfortable, Plenty of cargo space.
• Cons: Poor fuel economy, No hybrid or plug-in hybrid option, Needs a cloth seat option.

Our experts score the 2024 Jeep Gladiator 7.3/10 and the 2024 Ford Bronco 6.8/10. The Gladiator is the more distinctive choice if you want removable doors and roof plus stronger towing and hauling. The Bronco leans more toward comfort and everyday livability, but it gives up some of the Gladiator’s truck utility and open-air pickup personality.
