Is the 2024 INFINITI QX80 a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction, and the QX80’s appeal is strongest if you want a roomy full-size luxury SUV with a long list of comfort and convenience features. The overview also highlights powerful performance, plenty of cargo space, and an impressive audio system, while noting that the third row is small and the ride quality is not especially good. For you, that means this model makes the most sense if you value traditional SUV capability and upscale equipment over the latest cabin design or efficiency. 38.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 INFINITI QX80 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview describes it as fairly problem free, which is encouraging if you want a used luxury SUV with a reputation for being relatively low drama. Its body-on-frame layout and established mechanical setup may also appeal if you prefer a traditional SUV design. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure prior maintenance and wear items were handled consistently, especially on a large vehicle that can be costly to keep in top shape.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 INFINITI QX80?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and verify that the vehicle has a clean title and consistent service records. Put inspection priority on the suspension, brakes, tires, and interior wear, since this is a large luxury SUV that may have seen family-duty use or towing. Focus on overall condition and how well the features work, especially the infotainment, cameras, and seating equipment.

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without expecting a deep buyer’s-market discount on every listing.

• Deal availability: 38.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

If you find a listing below $43,884, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 INFINITI QX80's resale value?

The current average of $44,663 sits slightly below last year's $53,897.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at the right price, you reduce the risk of taking a bigger depreciation hit later. The QX80’s strong feature content and luxury positioning can still support demand, especially among shoppers who want a traditional full-size SUV.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 INFINITI QX80 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 38.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.13% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $71,501, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $44,663 average.
• The redesign brings new styling, a new powertrain, and updated tech features.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2024 if you want the better value and a proven, well-equipped full-size luxury SUV. If you care more about the newest styling and updated hardware, the 2025 is the better fit, but it comes at a much higher price. For price-sensitive buyers, the 2024 is the smarter path.
