How much does the 2024 Ford Expedition cost?

Is the 2024 Ford Expedition a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2024 Ford Expedition stands out as a full-size SUV that leans hard into family-hauling practicality, with a third row, plenty of passenger space, and a smooth ride. It also brings modern tech and useful features like adjustable pedals, making it a strong fit if you want a spacious, well-equipped SUV for people and cargo. With 34.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2024 Ford Expedition reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Ford Expedition’s appeal centers on its family-friendly layout, comfortable ride, and generous space, all of which support confidence in day-to-day use. Its independent rear suspension and broad equipment list also reinforce the sense that it is built to handle regular family duty well. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure the vehicle’s condition matches its mileage and equipment level before you commit.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Ford Expedition?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully and confirm there are no hidden accident or title issues. Put inspection priority on the suspension, electronics, and interior condition, since those areas matter most in a large, heavily equipped SUV. Focus on how well the vehicle has been maintained and whether its features work as expected, especially if you want a higher-trim example.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Ford Expedition?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 34.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 4,751 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.68% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $45,170, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Ford Expedition's resale value?

The current average of $45,170 sits slightly below last year's $52,940.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can matter if you plan to sell later. A lower current average can make the vehicle easier to buy now, but it may also mean future resale gains are more limited unless demand stays strong. If you keep the vehicle in clean condition and maintain it well, you improve your odds of holding value better than the average listing.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Ford Expedition or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 34.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.68% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $61,659, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $45,170 average.
• It adds a new Tremor trim for more off-road focus.

The bottom line: If you want the better value, the 2024 is the smarter buy because prices are lower and deal availability is decent. If you want the newest redesign and are willing to pay a premium, the 2025 is the better path. For price-sensitive buyers, the 2024 gives you the stronger balance of cost, inventory, and satisfaction.
