How much does the 2024 Ford Bronco cost?

Prices have softened 10.49% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 5,687 listings available, which suggests you have a healthy amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Ford Bronco a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Ford Bronco earns a 4.71/5 from owners and a 6.83/10 from expert testing. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Performance, and Form and function.

Owners repeatedly praise its off-road capabilities, modern features, stylish interior and design, and unique colors. The main trade-offs are poor fuel economy and some concerns about storage space and cabin noise for daily commuting.

For you, that means the Bronco makes the most sense if you want a rugged SUV with personality and trail ability, not a quiet efficiency play. It also has 35.8% good or great deals in the market, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Ford Bronco reliable?

Owners rate it 4.71/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback points to a vehicle that feels dependable in the ways Bronco shoppers care about most: it’s praised for off-road capability, modern features, and a generally satisfying ownership experience. The expert drive notes also describe the Bronco as a true off-roader that handles challenging terrain well and delivers a satisfying drivetrain.

Ford also includes a complimentary Bronco Trail App, which adds practical trail information and maps for owners who plan to use the SUV as intended. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that the Bronco’s rugged hardware and poor fuel economy can make it more expensive to live with over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Ford Bronco?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the Bronco has been used off-road or fitted with larger tires and suspension upgrades. Pay close attention to tire wear, interior condition, and any signs of hard trail use, since those can affect both comfort and long-term ownership costs.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Big Bend is the standard trim level, and the Sasquatch Package is a pricey upgrade that adds a suspension lift, 35-inch mud-terrain tires, and other off-roading equipment. The base setup can look awkward without the larger tires, so check whether the truck you’re considering has the appearance and capability you want.
• Powertrain: The standard turbocharged 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder makes 300 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque, while the optional turbocharged 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 makes 330 hp and 415 lb-ft. A turbocharged 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 is exclusive to the Raptor and makes 418 hp and 440 lb-ft. A seven-speed manual or 10-speed automatic is available depending on configuration, and the Bronco is not fuel efficient.
• Safety package: Ford Co-Pilot360 includes lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors. Standard safety equipment includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, automatic high-beam headlights, and a backup camera with guidance grid lines. Adaptive cruise control, front parking sensors, and a surround-view camera system are also available as options.
• Infotainment: Every Bronco gets a 12-inch Sync 4 touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, FordPass Connect services, SiriusXM 360L satellite radio, and a seven-speaker stereo. Higher trims add connected navigation and a Bang & Olufsen premium sound system with 10 speakers.
• Fuel efficiency: The EPA says a Big Bend Sasquatch with the 2.3-liter engine should return 18 mpg city, 17 mpg highway, and 18 mpg combined. Without the Sasquatch Package, highway fuel economy improves by 4 mpg and combined fuel economy improves by 2 mpg.

Which 2024 Ford Bronco trim should I buy?

The 2024 Ford Bronco is offered in 9 trim levels: Big Bend, Badlands, Bronco Raptor, and the other Bronco variants explicitly referenced in the model-year content.

Here's the short version:

• Big Bend: This is the standard trim level, so it’s the starting point if you want the Bronco experience without chasing expensive upgrades. It gets the standard 12-inch Sync 4 system, the core safety equipment, and the 2.3-liter turbo engine, making it the best-value choice for most shoppers.
• Badlands: This trim is the better pick if you want a more rugged setup and are willing to pay for it. The content specifically notes a more rugged front bumper on the Badlands, which makes it the trim to watch if trail-focused hardware matters to you.
• Bronco Raptor: This is the performance-focused choice, with the exclusive 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 and the highest tow rating mentioned. It also gets new colors for 2024, so it’s the one to choose if you want the most extreme Bronco in the lineup.

Ford’s safety package is broad enough that you should compare trims carefully, since some features are standard while others move into packages or options.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Ford Bronco?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 35.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 5,687 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.49% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $44,873, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Ford Bronco's resale value?

The current average of $44,873 sits slightly below last year's $50,132.

That price drop suggests the Bronco has softened in the market, which can help you buy at a better entry point today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained.

Because the Bronco still has strong owner satisfaction and broad appeal, well-kept examples should remain easier to move than neglected ones. Trim, equipment, and accident history will matter a lot when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.71/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Ford Bronco safe?

The Bronco four-door earns favorable IIHS ratings overall, except for its headlight performance, which gets a Marginal score. It earns a four-star frontal-impact rating from NHTSA and a mediocre three-rating for rollover resistance.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Ford Co-Pilot360 brings lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors when equipped through the Mid Package. Standard safety equipment includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, automatic high-beam headlights, a backup camera with guidance grid lines, post-collision braking, and 911 Assist.

The main caveat is that the Bronco’s crash-test picture is incomplete, and the headlight result is weaker than the rest of its safety performance. If safety is a top priority, you should pay close attention to the exact equipment on the truck you’re considering.

Should I buy a 2024 Ford Bronco or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 35.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.49% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.71/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It adds a standard 12-inch Sync 4 infotainment system and updates the Bronco Badlands and Bronco Raptor.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $41,145, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $44,873 average.
• It offers broad appeal with two- or four-door body styles across nine distinct models.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $47,258, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $44,873 average.
• It adds broader everyday comfort while keeping the Bronco’s off-road personality.

The bottom line: if you want the newest mix of tech updates and a market that’s softened from last year, the 2024 is the smart default. If price matters most, the 2023 is the better value play; if you want to spend more for the next model year’s refinements, the 2025 is worth a look.
