How much does the 2024 Ford Bronco cost?

Prices have softened 10.27% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 5,455 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Ford Bronco a good car?

Yes — you’re looking at a 4.71/5 owner-rated SUV with an expert rating of 6.83/10. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Performance, and Form and function.

Owners consistently praise its off-road capability, modern features, and distinctive design, and many also like the unique color choices. The main trade-offs are that storage space could be better and the cabin can be noisy for daily commuting.

That fits the Bronco’s use case well: you’re buying it for character, trail ability, and everyday versatility, not for quiet-road refinement. Good and great deals account for 34.2% of listings, so there’s still room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Ford Bronco reliable?

Owners rate it 4.71/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle people enjoy living with over time, especially for its capability and modern features. The expert drive notes also describe it as satisfying to drive, with clean shifts and easy 4-Hi and 4-Lo engagement.

Ford’s standard maintenance coverage adds a small ownership perk, since the first scheduled maintenance visit is included. For used buyers, the bigger long-term risk is less about basic dependability and more about whether the previous owner used it hard off-road or skipped upkeep.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Ford Bronco?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the Bronco has seen trail use. Pay close attention to tire wear, suspension condition, interior wear, and any signs that the vehicle was modified or heavily used off-road.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Big Bend is the standard trim level, and the Sasquatch Package adds a suspension lift, 35-inch mud-terrain tires, and other off-roading hardware. If you’re shopping a lower-spec Bronco, check carefully for feature gaps in comfort and convenience equipment.
• Powertrain: The standard turbocharged 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder makes 300 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque, while the optional turbocharged 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 makes 330 hp and 415 lb-ft. A turbocharged 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 is exclusive to the Raptor and makes 418 hp and 440 lb-ft.
• Safety package: Ford Co-Pilot360 includes lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors. Some features, including adaptive cruise control, front parking sensors, and a surround-view camera system, are optional.
• Infotainment: Every Bronco gets a 12-inch Sync 4 touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, FordPass Connect services, SiriusXM 360L, and a seven-speaker stereo. Higher trims add connected navigation and a Bang & Olufsen premium audio system with 10 speakers.
• Fuel efficiency: The Big Bend Sasquatch with the 2.3-liter engine and automatic transmission is rated at 18 mpg city, 17 mpg highway, and 18 mpg combined. The expert drive also notes that the Bronco is not fuel efficient.

Which 2024 Ford Bronco trim should I buy?

The 2024 Ford Bronco is offered in 9 trim levels: Big Bend, Badlands, Raptor, and the other Bronco variants explicitly referenced in the model’s trim lineup.

Here’s the short version:

• Big Bend: This is the standard trim and the best starting point if you want the Bronco experience without immediately jumping into a pricier build. It already gives you the core Bronco personality, the standard 12-inch Sync 4 system, and the essential off-road hardware that makes the SUV appealing.
• Badlands: Choose this if you want a more trail-focused setup and are interested in the rugged front bumper update mentioned for this model year. It suits you best if off-road use matters more than everyday polish.
• Raptor: This is the performance-oriented choice, with the exclusive 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 and the highest tow rating in the lineup. It’s the one to buy if you want the most capability and the most aggressive hardware.

The safety package is strongest when you move up to the Mid Package, which adds Ford Co-Pilot360 features such as blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Ford Bronco?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop carefully without expecting a fire sale.

• Deal availability: 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 5,455 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.27% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $45,084, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Ford Bronco's resale value?

The current average of $45,084 sits slightly below last year's $50,244.

That price decline suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you’re a future seller, condition and equipment will matter more because buyers are already seeing softer pricing across the model year.

Well-kept Broncos with desirable trims and clean histories should still draw attention, especially because the model has strong enthusiast appeal. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.71/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Ford Bronco safe?

The Bronco four-door earns a Marginal IIHS headlight score, and it earns a four-star frontal-impact rating and a mediocre three-rating for rollover resistance from NHTSA.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Ford equips the Bronco Big Bend with forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, automatic high-beam headlights, a backup camera with guidance grid lines, post-collision braking, and 911 Assist. The Mid Package adds lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors, while adaptive cruise control, front parking sensors, and a surround-view camera system are optional.

The main caveat is that the crash-test picture is mixed, especially on headlights and rollover resistance. If safety is a top priority, you’ll want to look closely at the available driver-assistance equipment and avoid assuming every Bronco comes equally equipped.

Should I buy a 2024 Ford Bronco or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.27% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.71/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• Ford adds a standard 12-inch Sync 4 infotainment system and updates the Bronco Badlands and Bronco Raptor for this year.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $41,333, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $45,084 average.
• It offers broad configuration choice and strong everyday usability.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $47,531, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $45,084 average.
• It emphasizes retro style, off-road hardware, and a wider range of variants.

The bottom line: the 2024 is the right pick if you want the updated infotainment and a strong mix of capability and value. If price is your main concern, the 2023 is the smarter path; if you want to spend more for a newer alternative, the 2025 is the next step up.
