You should prioritize a history report first, then confirm the listing matches the seller’s claims about accidents, ownership, and service records. Focus on signs of wear, missing equipment, and any issues that could affect long-term ownership costs.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Dodge Durango?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 36.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 5,045 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.10% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $32,090, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Dodge Durango's resale value?

The current average of $32,090 sits slightly below last year's $36,097.

That price movement suggests the Durango has softened in the used market, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For future sellers, the same trend means resale value may stay under pressure unless demand strengthens or supply tightens. Even so, a well-kept example with strong equipment and clean history should still attract interest from shoppers who want this SUV’s mix of space and power.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Dodge Durango or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 36.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.10% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $33,541, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $32,090 average.
• It adds standard heated front seats and a broader performance-focused lineup.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $34,382, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $32,090 average.
• It trims the lineup and emphasizes final-year special editions.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the best primary path if you want the strongest mix of price, inventory, and owner satisfaction. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2024 still makes sense over nearby years because it undercuts both the 2023 and 2025 averages while keeping the same core appeal.
