How much does the 2024 Chevrolet Equinox cost?

There are 9,761 listings available, which suggests you should have a healthy number of options to compare.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Equinox a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction, and the 2024 Equinox backs that up with a roomy interior, a practical compact-SUV footprint, and a broad set of features. It is smaller and lighter than the previous generation, but it still keeps the everyday usability that has long been one of the model’s strengths. For you, that means a sensible choice if you want a compact SUV that is easy to live with and still offers useful tech and cargo flexibility. The market also shows 36.4% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Equinox reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Equinox’s appeal comes from its practical design, added standard safety equipment, and straightforward technology package. It also benefits from being the final year of this generation, which can be reassuring if you want a mature version of the model with its updates already in place. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure the specific vehicle has been well maintained and not worn down by heavy daily use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Chevrolet Equinox?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still review the history report carefully and confirm there are no hidden collision repairs or title issues. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the interior, cargo area, and infotainment system so you can judge how well the vehicle has been cared for. Because this model is meant to be practical and easy to live with, condition matters a lot: focus on signs of wear, maintenance consistency, and whether the features you want are working properly.

This is a moderate buyer’s market, so you can shop selectively without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 36.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 9,761 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.61% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,285, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Chevrolet Equinox's resale value?

The current average of $22,604 sits slightly below last year's $23,696.

That softer pricing can help you buy more carefully now, but it also means future resale will depend heavily on how well the vehicle holds its condition. If you keep mileage reasonable and maintenance records organized, you should be in a better position when it is time to sell. The model’s practical layout and broad appeal should help support demand, especially among shoppers looking for a straightforward compact SUV.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Chevrolet Equinox or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 36.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.61% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $21,126, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $22,604 average.
• It offers strong value with easy-to-use tech and a comfortable ride.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $26,118, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $22,604 average.
• It brings a fresher redesign with more standard tech and safety features.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the best all-around pick if you want the most balanced mix of price, features, and market availability. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2023 is the smarter value play, while the 2025 makes sense if you want the newer redesign and are willing to pay more for it.
