How much does the 2024 Buick Envista cost?

There are 1,451 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Buick Envista a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Buick Envista earns a 4.5/5 user rating and a 7.83/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Look and feel at 9/10.

It fits you well if you want a small crossover with a more upscale presentation than a typical entry-level model. The overview and test-drive notes point to stylish design, a comfortable ride, and strong value as the main reasons to consider it.

The trade-offs are clear: all-wheel drive is not available, cargo space is limited, and the cabin ergonomics are not especially strong. Even so, the market shows 34.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2024 Buick Envista reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Envista is positioned as a simple, value-focused crossover with a conventional gasoline powertrain and a straightforward warranty package. Its turbocharged three-cylinder and six-speed automatic are described as smooth and refined for the class, and the ride tuning is aimed at comfort rather than complexity.

It also comes with a three-year, 36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty and a five-year, 60,000-mile powertrain warranty, which helps reduce early ownership risk. For used buyers, the main long-term concern is less about mechanical sophistication and more about whether the vehicle has been maintained well and used in a way that matches its compact-crossover packaging.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Buick Envista?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re comparing multiple listings at similar prices. Focus on overall condition, interior wear, and whether the car’s equipment matches the trim level you expect.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Preferred is the most straightforward version, while the Sport Touring adds black exterior trim and 18-inch wheels, and the Avenir brings bright exterior trim, standard 19-inch wheels, and leather seats. The higher trims also add interior contrast stitching, and the Avenir gets an eight-way power driver’s seat as standard.
• Powertrain: You get a 1.2-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine with 137 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque, paired with a six-speed automatic and front-wheel drive. Buick does not plan to offer all-wheel drive on this model.
• Safety package: Standard driver-assistance features include automatic emergency braking with front pedestrian braking, a following distance indicator, forward collision warning, automatic high beams, lane-keep assist, and lane-departure warning. Optional features include adaptive cruise control, lane-change alert with side blind-zone alert, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear park assist.
• Infotainment: Every Envista gets an 11-inch touchscreen and an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, plus wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, wireless phone charging, and Wi-Fi connectivity.
• Fuel efficiency: It returns 30 mpg combined (28 mpg city, 32 mpg highway).

Which 2024 Buick Envista trim should I buy?

The 2024 Buick Envista is offered in 3 trim levels: Preferred, Sport Touring, and Avenir.

Here's the short version:

• Preferred: This is the value play if you want the Envista’s core appeal at the lowest price. You still get the standard 11-inch touchscreen, digital instrument cluster, wireless smartphone integration, and the same smooth turbo-three powertrain, so it covers the essentials well.
• Sport Touring: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds a more distinctive look with black exterior trim and 18-inch wheels without moving into luxury-trim pricing. If you want the most style per dollar, this is the one to focus on.
• Avenir: Choose this if you want the most upscale Envista experience. It adds bright exterior trim, standard 19-inch wheels, leather seats, and an eight-way power driver’s seat, making it the most comfort- and appearance-focused version.

The safety package is broadly standard across the lineup, with additional driver-assistance features available on higher trims.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Buick Envista?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 34.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,451 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.50% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $23,623, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Buick Envista's resale value?

The current average of $23,834 sits slightly below last year's $24,957.

That price movement suggests the Envista has softened enough to create a more buyer-friendly entry point today. For a future seller, that means resale will likely depend heavily on condition, mileage, and trim appeal rather than broad market momentum alone.

The good news is that the model’s value-oriented positioning and upscale presentation should help it stay relevant with shoppers looking for a small crossover that feels a bit more premium. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Buick Envista safe?

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard driver-assistance equipment includes automatic emergency braking with front pedestrian braking, a following distance indicator, forward collision warning, automatic high beams, lane-keep assist, and lane-departure warning. Optional features include adaptive cruise control, lane-change alert with side blind-zone alert, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear park assist.

Because crash-test ratings were not available at the time of publication, you should lean on the standard safety equipment and the availability of extra driver aids when comparing used listings. If you want the most complete safety setup, look for a higher trim or a vehicle equipped with the optional assistance features.

Should I buy a 2024 Buick Envista or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 34.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.50% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 model year introduces Buick’s new entry-level crossover with a more upscale feel than the Trax-based hardware underneath.

The bottom line: If you want the newest version of Buick’s small crossover formula, the 2024 is the right place to start because it combines strong value, a comfortable ride, and a more premium presentation. If you’re especially price-sensitive, shop the listings closely and prioritize the best-condition example with the trim and equipment you actually want.
