Used 2024 Buick Envista for Sale nearLafayette, LA

How much does the 2024 Buick Envista cost?

Prices have softened 4.59% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,512 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Buick Envista a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Buick Envista earns a 4.5/5 user rating and a 7.83/10 expert rating, which points to a strong overall showing for shoppers who want style and comfort in an entry-level crossover. The Envista is positioned as Buick’s new entry-level model, but it aims for a more upscale feel than its mainstream hardware might suggest.

The standout strength is Look and feel at 9/10.

That lines up with the model’s appeal to buyers who want style and comfort without moving up to a larger or pricier crossover. The trade-offs are clear, though: AWD not available and not much cargo space. If you want a small crossover that emphasizes refinement and value over utility and traction options, the Envista fits that brief well.

38.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities in the market.

Is the 2024 Buick Envista reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The Envista’s powertrain is described as more refined than its specs suggest, and the ride tuning is aimed at a quieter, more comfortable feel than you might expect from an entry-level crossover.

It also comes with a three-year, 36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty and a five-year, 60,000-mile powertrain warranty, which helps support ownership confidence. The fuel-economy figure of 30 mpg combined also points to sensible day-to-day running costs.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a small, front-wheel-drive crossover with limited cargo space may not age as gracefully if your needs grow beyond its packaging.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Buick Envista?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re shopping outside the cleanest listings. Focus on cabin condition, cargo-area wear, and how the controls and seating feel in daily use, since the Envista’s value proposition depends heavily on comfort and refinement.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Preferred is the base model, while the Sport Touring adds sporty styling touches and the Avenir is the range topper. The higher trims add black exterior trim or bright exterior trim, larger wheels, and contrast stitching, while the Avenir also gets leather seats and a standard eight-way power driver’s seat. If you want the best value, the Sport Touring is the trim that most clearly adds style without moving all the way to the top.
• Powertrain: You get a 1.2-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine with a six-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. Output is 137 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque, and the setup is tuned to feel smoother and more refined than the numbers suggest. All-wheel drive is not offered.
• Safety package: Standard driver assist tech includes automatic emergency braking with front pedestrian braking, a following distance indicator, forward collision warning, automatic high beams, lane-keep assist, and lane-departure warning. Optional features include adaptive cruise control, lane-change alert with side blind-zone alert, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear park assist.
• Infotainment: You get an 11-inch touchscreen and an 8-inch digital instrument cluster as standard equipment, along with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless phone charging, and Wi-Fi connectivity. A head-up display is not available.
• Fuel efficiency: The Envista returns 30 mpg combined, including 28 mpg city and 32 mpg highway.

Which 2024 Buick Envista trim should I buy?

The 2024 Buick Envista is offered in 3 trim levels: Preferred, Sport Touring, and Avenir.

Here's the short version:

• Preferred: This is the entry point, and it gives you the Envista’s core appeal at the lowest price. You still get the standard 11-inch touchscreen, digital instrument cluster, wireless smartphone integration, and the same refined powertrain, so it covers the essentials well if you’re shopping on value.
• Sport Touring: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds the more distinctive sporty styling touches without jumping to the top-end price. If you want the Envista’s design-forward personality and a little more visual presence, this is the trim that most naturally fits that goal.
• Avenir: Choose this if you want the most upscale version of the Envista. It adds bright exterior trim, standard 19-inch wheels, leather seats, and a standard eight-way power driver’s seat, making it the most comfort-focused choice.

Safety equipment is broadly consistent across the lineup, with the main differences centered on optional driver-assistance features rather than major trim-specific safety gaps.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Buick Envista?

The market looks selective but workable for buyers who are ready to compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 38.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,512 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.59% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 90.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $23,621, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Buick Envista's resale value?

The current average of $23,627 sits slightly below last year's $24,762.

That decline suggests the Envista is currently in a buyer-friendly phase, which can be helpful if you’re shopping now but less ideal if you’re planning to sell soon. A softer market can mean you may need to price more competitively when it’s time to move on. On the other hand, the model’s value-oriented positioning and strong comfort appeal can help keep it attractive to used buyers.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Buick Envista safe?

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard driver-assistance equipment includes automatic emergency braking with front pedestrian braking, forward collision warning, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, automatic high beams, and a following distance indicator. Optional equipment expands that list with adaptive cruise control, lane-change alert with side blind-zone alert, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear park assist.

Crash-test ratings were not available at the time of publication, so you should pay close attention to the specific safety equipment on any used example you’re considering. If you want the most confidence, look for a listing with the optional driver-assistance features you care about most.

Should I buy a 2024 Buick Envista or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 38.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.59% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 model year launches the Envista as Buick’s new entry-level crossover, with a more upscale feel, standard 11-inch touchscreen, and a refined, value-focused setup.

The bottom line: If you want the freshest version of the Envista with strong value, good inventory depth, and a well-equipped cabin, the 2024 is the one to target. If you’re especially price-sensitive, keep shopping the market and focus on the lowest-priced clean listings, since the current year’s softer pricing gives you room to be selective.
