Used 2024 Acura TLX for Sale nearTacoma, WA

How much does the 2024 Acura TLX cost?

Prices have softened 6.29% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 588 listings available, which gives you a decent amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Acura TLX a good car?

The 2024 Acura TLX earns a 7.33/10 expert rating, and Acura’s updates give it a sharper look and bigger screens without changing its performance-first character.

The standout strength is Performance at 9/10.

It’s a strong fit if you want a sports sedan that prioritizes driving enjoyment, stylish design, and value over rear-seat room or cargo space. The TLX’s trade-offs include a cramped back seat and not much cargo space, and its technology can be unintuitive.

With 31.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Acura TLX reliable?

The 2024 Acura TLX is presented as a well-equipped, safety-focused sedan with a strong warranty and standard driver-assistance coverage, which supports confidence for used buyers.

Its performance hardware is substantial, and the expert evaluation describes it as a capable sports sedan with excellent safety features. The powertrain coverage is six years/70,000 miles, which is a useful ownership cushion if you plan to keep the car for a while.

The infotainment setup is more of a usability concern than a durability concern, but it can still affect day-to-day satisfaction over time. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a performance-oriented luxury sedan can be more expensive to live with if you want trouble-free ownership and low running costs.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Acura TLX?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 84.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because a clean title does not replace a thorough inspection. Prioritize a test drive that lets you evaluate the infotainment controls, seat comfort, and overall condition of the cabin and suspension. Pay close attention to how the car feels in daily use, since the TLX’s strengths are tied closely to its driving character and equipment level.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Technology Package is the entry point, followed by the A-Spec Package and the Type S. The lower trim levels get the core luxury-sedan look and standard heated front seats, while the A-Spec and Type S add ventilated front seats and a more upscale audio system. The Type S also adds a more aggressive appearance with a gloss black front splitter, rear diffuser, and quad exhaust outlets.
• Powertrain: The Technology Package and A-Spec use a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 272 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. The Technology Package sends power to the front wheels through a 10-speed automatic, while the A-Spec adds Super Handling All-Wheel Drive. The Type S steps up to a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 with 355 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque, plus stronger performance hardware.
• Safety package: AcuraWatch is standard and includes automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, road-departure mitigation, rear cross-traffic monitoring, front and rear parking sensors, and upgraded blind-spot monitoring with lane-change alert. Every TLX gets this equipment, so you do not need to move up a trim for the core safety suite.
• Infotainment: Every model gets a 12.3-inch center infotainment screen, dual 12.3-inch displays, Bluetooth, wireless Android Auto, wireless Apple CarPlay, a wireless charging pad, and Amazon Alexa built in. The center screen is not a touchscreen, and the True Touchpad Interface can take time to learn.
• Fuel efficiency: The available performance-focused powertrains are described in terms of output and driving character, but no MPG or MPGe figure is stated here.

Which 2024 Acura TLX trim should I buy?

The 2024 Acura TLX is offered in 3 trim levels: Technology Package, A-Spec Package, Type S.

Here's the short version:

• Technology Package: This is the entry point and the best-value choice if you want the TLX’s core strengths without stretching to the pricier trims. You still get the standard luxury and safety equipment, plus the turbocharged four-cylinder and the full AcuraWatch suite.
• A-Spec Package: This is the smart step-up if you want more style and a richer feature set. It adds Super Handling All-Wheel Drive, ventilated front seats, and the upgraded 17-speaker ELS Studio 3D audio system, making it a strong middle-ground pick.
• Type S: This is the one to choose if performance matters most. It brings the turbo V6, the most aggressive chassis tuning, Brembo brakes, and the most dramatic exterior treatment, so it suits you best if you want the quickest and most engaging TLX.

AcuraWatch is standard across the lineup, so you do not need to move up a trim for the core safety package.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Acura TLX?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 31.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 588 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.29% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 84.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $35,962, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Acura TLX's resale value?

The current average of $36,700 sits slightly below last year's $39,162.

That price movement suggests the TLX has softened enough to help you buy more selectively today. If you sell later, you should expect resale value to depend heavily on trim, condition, and how well the car has been maintained.

Because the TLX is a performance-oriented luxury sedan, well-kept examples should hold more appeal than neglected ones. A cleaner history and stronger equipment level will matter more if you want to protect value over time.

Is the 2024 Acura TLX safe?

The 2024 Acura TLX earns five-star ratings overall from NHTSA, and the IIHS has rated it Good in all tests.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

AcuraWatch is standard and includes automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, road-departure mitigation, rear cross-traffic monitoring, front and rear parking sensors, and upgraded blind-spot monitoring with lane-change alert. That means you get a broad safety suite without needing to pay extra for it.

The main caveat is that the TLX’s infotainment controls can be distracting to use, especially when running phone projection. The car itself scores well on safety, but the interface can still be a usability drawback.

Should I buy a 2024 Acura TLX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 31.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 84.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.29% compared with last year.
• It adds a sharper grille, bigger screens, and retains the TLX’s performance-first character.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $34,928, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $36,700 average.
• It emphasizes style, fun-to-drive character, and a comfortable ride.

The bottom line: Choose the 2024 if you want the updated look, stronger tech presentation, and a broader used-market selection. If your priority is saving money, the 2023 is the better value path, especially if you can find one in clean condition with the equipment you want.
