Used 2024 Acura TLX for Sale nearSaint Paul, MN

How much does the 2024 Acura TLX cost?

Prices have softened 4.59% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 616 listings available, which gives you a decent amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2024 Acura TLX a good car?

The 2024 Acura TLX earns a 7.3/10 expert rating.

The standout strength is Performance at 9/10.

You get a sports-sedan formula that prioritizes driving enjoyment, with stylish design, great handling, and strong value for money. The TLX also brings a turbocharged four-cylinder lineup and a turbo V6 Type S, so you can choose between everyday punch and serious performance.

The trade-offs are clear: the back seat is cramped, cargo space is limited, and the technology can be unintuitive.

For you, that means the TLX makes the most sense if you want a more engaging luxury sedan than the average commuter car. Good and great deals account for 29.5% of listings, which suggests there are still some attractive opportunities in the market.

Is the 2024 Acura TLX reliable?

The 2024 Acura TLX is presented as a well-equipped, safety-focused sports sedan with a strong warranty and standard driver-assistance coverage. Acura’s own positioning emphasizes value, and the expert assessment backs that up with an 8/10 safety score.

Its performance hardware is also described as robust, especially in Type S form, where the car gets adaptive dampers, more robust stabilizers, and Brembo brakes. The standard powertrain lineup is straightforward, with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder in the lower trims and a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 in the Type S.

For ownership, the main long-term risk is less about outright mechanical drama and more about living with a car that can be less practical and less intuitive than rivals.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Acura TLX?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 84.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re shopping outside the cleanest listings. Focus on overall condition, because the TLX’s appeal depends heavily on how well it has been maintained and whether the interior and tech systems feel fresh.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Technology Package is the entry point, followed by the A-Spec Package and the Type S. The base trim is no longer available, so you should expect the lower trims to still include leather upholstery and heated front seats, while the A-Spec and Type S add ventilation and more visual presence.
• Powertrain: The Technology Package and A-Spec use a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 272 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. The Technology Package sends power to the front wheels, while the A-Spec adds Super Handling All-Wheel Drive. The Type S upgrades to a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 with 355 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque.
• Safety package: AcuraWatch is standard and includes automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, road-departure mitigation, rear cross-traffic monitoring, front and rear parking sensors, and upgraded blind-spot monitoring with lane-change alert. Every TLX gets these features.
• Infotainment: You get a 12.3-inch center infotainment screen, dual 12.3-inch displays, wireless Android Auto, wireless Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth connectivity, a wireless charging pad, and Amazon Alexa built in. The interface is not a touchscreen, so you should test whether you like the True Touchpad Interface before you buy.
• Fuel efficiency: The TLX Type S can sprint from zero to 60 miles per hour in roughly five seconds.

Which 2024 Acura TLX trim should I buy?

The 2024 Acura TLX is offered in 3 trim levels: Technology Package, A-Spec Package, Type S.

Here's the short version:

• Technology Package: This is the entry point and the best-value choice if you want the TLX’s core strengths without paying for the sportier extras. You still get the standard luxury and safety equipment, plus the turbocharged four-cylinder powertrain.
• A-Spec Package: This is the smart step-up if you want the better-balanced version of the TLX. It adds Super Handling All-Wheel Drive, which the expert data describes as a performance-focused system, and it also brings ventilated front seats.
• Type S: This is the one to buy if you want the full performance experience. It adds the turbocharged V6, 355 horsepower, adaptive dampers, Brembo brakes, and the most aggressive visual treatment.

AcuraWatch is standard across the lineup, so you do not need to move up a trim just to get the core safety suite.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Acura TLX?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on the right car.

• Deal availability: 29.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 616 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.59% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 84.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $35,946, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Acura TLX's resale value?

The current average of $36,809 sits slightly below last year's $38,580.

That softer pricing suggests the TLX has become a little easier to buy than it was a year ago. If you’re planning to sell later, you should expect the market to reward well-kept examples more than average ones, especially because the model’s appeal depends on condition and equipment.

The current trend also means your entry price is more favorable now than it was a year ago. For a future seller, that can help if you buy at the right number and keep mileage and condition in check.

Is the 2024 Acura TLX safe?

The 2024 Acura TLX earns five-star ratings overall from NHTSA, and the IIHS has rated it Good in all tests.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

AcuraWatch is standard and includes automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, road-departure mitigation, rear cross-traffic monitoring, front and rear parking sensors, and upgraded blind-spot monitoring with lane-change alert. That means you get a broad safety suite without needing to climb the trim ladder.

The main caveat is that the TLX’s infotainment setup can be frustrating to use, especially when you’re relying on phone projection.

Should I buy a 2024 Acura TLX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 29.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 84.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.59% compared with last year.
• The 2024 adds a handsome new grille and bigger screens while keeping the same chassis and powertrains.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $34,372, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $36,809 average.
• It offers a stylish, fun-to-drive luxury sports sedan with a comfortable ride.

The bottom line: If you want the newer look, updated screens, and stronger standard equipment, the 2024 is the better pick. If your priority is saving money and you’re comfortable giving up the refresh, the 2023 is the value play.
