Accident-free inventory is solid at 84.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on any listing you like, even if the market looks clean overall. Focus on overall maintenance history and interior condition, since those details can matter more than mileage alone on a used compact SUV.

What is the 2023 Toyota Corolla Cross's resale value?

The current average of $25,819 sits slightly below last year's $25,876.

That small decline suggests the market has been stable rather than volatile, which is helpful if you plan to sell later. A steady price pattern can make it easier to estimate your future trade-in or private-party value. It also means you are less likely to see dramatic swings that hurt resale timing.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Toyota Corolla Cross or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 36.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 84.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $23,629, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $25,819 average.
• It blends Corolla familiarity with crossover practicality.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2023 if you want the stronger current-market balance of pricing, inventory, and owner satisfaction. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2022 is the better value-focused alternative, especially if you find one in clean condition with a solid history.
