Used 2023 Tesla Model S for Sale nearSan Antonio, TX

How much does the 2023 Tesla Model S cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 329 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2023 Tesla Model S a good car?

The 2023 Tesla Model S is a compelling choice if you want a used EV with long range, advanced technology, and sports car-style acceleration, and its 2/5 user rating suggests you should weigh those strengths against its compromises. The Model S also benefits from years of software and spec updates, which helped keep it competitive as newer rivals arrived.

For your use case, it makes the most sense if you value innovation, fast charging, and a distinctive performance-oriented EV experience more than traditional luxury-car conveniences. It still stands out for its blend of range, acceleration, and tech, but the lack of smartphone mirroring may matter if you rely on that feature every day.

28.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so there is some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Tesla Model S reliable?

The 2023 Tesla Model S benefits from Tesla’s over-the-air updates and fast-charging ecosystem, and it was built around a formula of long range, advanced technology, and strong performance. At the same time, build quality has been a recurring concern, and the lack of smartphone mirroring may be a practical drawback for some buyers.

For long-term ownership, that means you should expect a used example to reward careful shopping and thorough inspection rather than assuming every car will age the same way.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Tesla Model S?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 84.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on build quality, panel fit, interior condition, and any signs of uneven wear or prior repairs. It also makes sense to confirm that the software, charging behavior, and major convenience features work as expected, since this car’s appeal depends heavily on its tech-heavy ownership experience.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Tesla Model S?

This is a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options if you know what to prioritize.

• Deal availability: 28.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 329 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 84.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $53,366, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Tesla Model S's resale value?

The current average of $57,667 sits slightly above last year's $57,532.

That small increase suggests the market has stayed relatively stable, which can help support resale confidence if you buy at the right price. Because the year-over-year change is modest, a well-kept example should remain easier to value than a model with a sharper price swing. If you plan to sell later, buying near the lower end of the range gives you more room to preserve equity.

Should I buy a 2023 Tesla Model S or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 28.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 84.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2023 Model S makes the most sense if you want the current-year balance of performance, range, and tech without chasing a newer model year. If you're more price-sensitive, a nearby older year may be worth considering, especially if you can find a cleaner example with similar equipment at a lower asking price.
