overall
Summary
With 648 currently listed for sale and an average price of $51,992, 43.4% of 2023 RAM 2500 listings on CarGurus are rated as good or great deals.
Favorably reviewed: Owners rated the 2023 RAM 2500 4.2 / 5 stars and CarGurus experts gave it a 7.5 / 10.
89.7% of 2023 RAM 2500 listings on CarGurus are accident free.
Why it stands out
The 2023 RAM 2500 stands out as a heavy-duty pickup that blends serious capability with a more comfortable, upscale feel than many buyers expect in this class. In expert testing, it was praised for impressive off-road capability, a powerful turbodiesel engine option, and a spacious, comfortable cabin. That combination makes it appealing to shoppers who want a truck that can handle demanding work while still feeling livable day to day.
It is not without drawbacks, though. The column shifter was described as flimsy, and the truck was noted as difficult to enter and exit. The turbodiesel engine option was also called expensive. Even so, the 2023 RAM 2500’s mix of strength, comfort, and utility gives it broad appeal for buyers who want a capable heavy-duty truck with some refinement.

Features are great. Good value for the price I paid. I think the necessary performance upgrades required to make it reliable are excessively overpriced but as a stock vehicle it was priced right.
