What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Polestar 2?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the car’s condition matches the listing details. Put inspection priority on wear items, charging-related functionality, and any signs of prior damage or inconsistent maintenance. Focus on overall condition and pricing together, since a clean history does not automatically mean the best value.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Polestar 2?

If you find a listing below $25,097, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Polestar 2's resale value?

The current average of $25,097 sits slightly below last year's $29,396.

That price movement suggests the model has become more accessible for buyers, but it also means future sellers may face more competition when they go to list. If you buy well now, you may have less downside risk than someone who paid closer to last year's average. For resale, condition and mileage will matter even more when the market is already softer.

Should I buy a 2023 Polestar 2 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 46.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.62% compared with last year.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $21,054, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $25,097 average.
• It offers a stylish, premium-feeling introduction to Polestar’s EV lineup.

Consider the 2024 if:

• It adds a range boost, revised styling, and powertrain updates.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the better primary target if you want a newer model year with a favorable market and plenty of inventory to compare. If your priority is saving money, the 2022 is the better value play, while the 2024 makes sense if you want the newer updates and can stretch your budget.
