Used 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC for Sale nearCharlotte, NC

How much does the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC cost?

Prices have softened 8.32% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,503 listings available, which gives you a healthy amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC earns a 5/5 user rating and a 6.33/10 expert rating. The model scores 7/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, and Safety.

The GLC is positioned as a comfortable, refined small luxury SUV that emphasizes premium interior materials and a polished cabin over flash. It is also described as fuel-efficient, with a smooth ride and a nearly silent cabin that suit buyers who value comfort and a traditional luxury feel.

The trade-offs are clear: it does not offer much cargo space, and it is not especially exciting to drive. That makes it a better fit if you want a calm, upscale daily driver rather than a sporty or especially practical one.

38.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities in the market.

Is the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2023 GLC is presented as a refined, well-executed luxury SUV, and the expert review emphasizes its smooth power delivery, quiet cabin, and comfort-focused tuning. The performance notes also describe acceleration as pleasantly smooth and the brakes as effective and easy to modulate, which supports the impression of a well-sorted daily driver.

The ownership picture is helped by the model’s efficient powertrain and the sense that Mercedes prioritized polish in this redesign. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a premium SUV with lots of technology can become more expensive to keep in top shape if prior maintenance was neglected.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because a clean listing percentage does not replace documentation. A pre-purchase inspection is especially important on a luxury SUV like this, since you want to confirm that the cabin electronics, driver-assistance features, and drivetrain are all working as intended. Focus on overall condition, service records, and whether the vehicle has been used in a way that matches the refined, comfort-first character of the GLC.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The standard GLC 300 is the only redesigned trim described here, and it brings premium interior materials, a large vertical infotainment screen, and a cleaner, more modern cabin. The Coupe models are carryovers with an older interior layout, so they trade some of the new SUV’s visual impact and usability for a different body style.
• Powertrain: The GLC 300 uses a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system, paired with a nine-speed automatic. Rear-wheel drive is standard, and 4Matic all-wheel drive is available. The setup is tuned for smooth, linear acceleration rather than sporty urgency.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, a blind-spot monitor, adaptive headlights with automatic high beams, and a driver attention monitor. The optional Driver Assistance package adds adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, evasive steering assist, and emergency stop assist. The Coupe comes standard with cross-traffic alerts and the surround-view camera.
• Infotainment: The new setup centers on an 11.9-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The system also supports voice control, but the screen’s lower placement and the lack of physical buttons make it more distracting to use than the older layout.
• Fuel efficiency: The rear-wheel-drive GLC 300 is estimated at 25 mpg city, 32 mpg highway, and 28 mpg combined. The 4Matic version is estimated at 23 mpg city, 31 mpg highway, and 26 mpg combined.

What is the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC's resale value?

The current average of $37,981 sits slightly below last year's $41,428.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained.

Because the GLC is a premium SUV with strong comfort and efficiency credentials, well-kept examples should remain appealing to used shoppers. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 38.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.32% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The redesign is subtle, but the cabin upgrades and refined road manners make it a strong comfort-first choice.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $41,471, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $37,981 average.
• AMG variants return, broadening the lineup.

The bottom line: If you want the better value, the 2023 is the smarter buy because it delivers the core GLC experience at a lower average price and with strong market availability. If you want a broader lineup and are willing to spend more, the 2024 is the better path.
